Look, Goran isn't going to dominate top PGs like that every time, but HE IS good enough to the PG of a contender, and his contract is a team friendly deal.

We all need to accept this. He's not elite, but he's a smart, team oriented very good player, that make a lot less then Max next year, and we're much better with him then without.

Goran isn't expect to dominate the way he did today but he also can't be a ghost for 4 straight games either. Goran is a talented player but he does go missing to often. Lucky for him, he gets another series to show Riley that it was just the playoff gigters and show who he is as a player. Is he closer to game 7 Goran or is he closer to Games 1-4.

come on RBW.

Goran was great today but 1 in 7 games isn't enough.

Go check how Lowery has been. Or Isaiah Thomas. Or Kemba himself in the most important game.

Most PG's aren't franchise players except for the top 3 ones. Goran is a good piece, not the highest paid or most talented player on the team but one that only cars about winning and gives it his all. For his pay-grade, he's totally fine. We just need to work on maximizing him more.

If he gets some consistency he's fine but so far this playoff he's been consistently bad. Goran is the reason it went to 7. But maybe he was just teasing us.

in a series he really struggled and got KILLED by the refs :

Goran : 14.2 points, 43%FG, 33% from 3 in just 29 minutes per.

Lowery Vs Pacers : 13.9 points, 31%FG, 16% from 3 in 38 minutes per.

Jeff Teague Vs Celtics : 16 points, 40% FG, 23% from 3, in 29 minutes

Isaiah Thomas Vs Hawks : 24 points, 39%FG, 28% from 3, in 36 minutes.

Goran was easily the most efficient player on that list, he just played a much more limited role because he's unselfish, got killed with BS calls and we had better options. He didn't force and hurt us, he just took a back seat like Winning players do when they struggle.

I'm not sure why you're giving me stats about these other players.

None of them are in the same situation as Goran.

Goran was shooting 37% through 6 games and he was being burnt by the Hornets!!!

I'm happy with keeping the G7 Goran. I'll pass on the G1-6 Goran, I'd rather go with JRich and TJ ;-) He's just got to man up.

What we need to see form Goran next season is a consistent spot-up three point shot. He needs to be shooting at least 35/36% from three and his track record shows he can do it. His unexpected loss of range this season really hurt us due to how bad our shooting already was.

Miami Heat is where 3 point shots come to die. Joe, Dragic, Green, Winslow ... Nobody can buy a bucket.

We birthed Josh FWIW

Wouldn't worry too much about Goran (Granted that he's still here), just need to focus more on off ball/ball movement next season

bump

needs to get better defensively. not a fan of how we had to take him out late in games for J-Rich.
