Bring some OTC ondansetron or some other form of an anti-emetic medication with you to the gym.

Up your protein intake. If you're worried about putting on weight again by upping your cals abit dont. Minimize on carbs if you're too skeptical. Buy a protein supplement, low in cals and fat, high in protein. Bodybuilding.com/store as great deals. Go for Whey/Isolate protein.

Since you have never lifted before, you will gain muscle as you will lose weight at the same time. No question about that. Your body is new to these movements and it will have no choice to respond when meeting new challenges. Now, 1000 is too high on a deficit as you train, dim it down too -500 in deficit and go from there, trial and error. Do cardio if you must to meet your desired weight too. But again, don't be to concerned about not making muscle gains.

I don't know how much you weigh and what your goal weight is too, that stuff gets taken into account too.

So I decided I would try and get some cardio in today. I hate running(it's really boring) but I like swimming.

So I get in the pool which is freezing by the way but I adjusted after a little while.

So I swam in sets of about 10 laps for 30 minutes. I was breathing pretty hard in between my 30 second breaks but overall it was pretty good and i felt fine. But then I got out of the pool and I felt like ****.

I'm currently tying not to throw up. **** me

I thought you wanted to lift weights?

I do and I plan on it. Just got a half hour of swimming in today after class.

Those two cats genuinely hate each other. This is not business for them, they been wanting to go at each other for personal reasons for a while and now they get some money for it.

Ok.

Download Fitness Pal (by Wade) from the Google play store. It's full of great stuff. Meal plans, workouts (even for beginners), workout logs, and a crapton more. They show you how to do workouts too. It's pretty helpful.

Bring some OTC ondansetron or some other form of an anti-emetic medication with you to the gym. You don't want to be throwing chunks or dry heaving during workouts. Imagine running as fast as you can on a treadmill. Then you decide you want to turn it off. Usually, you hit an off-switch and the treadmill slow down to a stop, and all is well. But imagine if the treadmill unexpectedly comes to a halt when you hit that switch while you still have your full momentum. You on the treadmill represents your heart. You'll be teetering the line of passing out in your own puke. And that's someone with a healthy heart. If you have any medical complications of the cardiovascular system, it could get ugly. I don't know the specifics of your lifestyle change that led you to changing your diet and losing a bunch of weight, but it's something to think about if it's related to your heart.

Happens frequently in January since that's usually when everyone joins a gym as a new year resolution and jumps in head first. It's usually not a big deal, but it's that small percentage of bad luck that can get people.

On a nicer note after trade deadline....

Can you imagine you do this and then get shipped out of town the same week?

Goran Dragic buys $7.9 million bayfront home in Miami’s Bay Point neighborhood

Miami Heat player Goran Dragic purchased a 6,500 square-foot bayfront house on Sabal Palm Road for $7.9 million — a neighborhood record. The home features views of both Biscayne Bay and the downtown skyline, seven bedrooms, six baths, wine cellar and a waterview pool.

Unless he was shipped to cali, he could have kept it as a summer home. A lot of athletes live down here during the offseason.

That's a lot of money for a summer home though, no? ... You can get a condo for $1.5 mil that would be good enough for the summer.

Heh, for his money? Nah it really isn't that much. Summer home until you retire and make it a permanent home. He could split that bill over the life of his current contract and still be good. It's not that uncommon.
