There is mins. Its about marchups. The Heat will not play the same rotation throughout the playoffs. Lineups will change accordingly to situation and what Spo will try to achieve.

Would love for Bam to to have a monster finish to the season and ultimately bring his total ppg to over 20 before the playoffs.

I think were still looking through the window at it, I say that because we don't have our offensive sets built around that 2 man game yet as a priority.
We have:
In order Based on % used during games.
1. BAM hand offs with /3pt shooter in lineup, as #1 go to. (Alternate of Deadmon/Yurt hand offs during bench play)
2. PJ hands off with /3pt shooter on the corners only, for PJ quick leak out to corner if available for open three. (Caleb Martin Alternate available).
3. Jimmy High/low post drop in for turn around jumper, if double available pass out to open 3pt shooter. (Jimmy Bully ball drive, fishing for fouls and 1 opportunities).
4. Miami Heat fast breaks, push the offense to catch opposing defense off guard usually Lowry/Vincent/Hero/Jimmy/Bam.
5. Miami Heat leak outs during defensive rebounding for long pass to easy score by anyone usually a guard/ Bam on occasion.
6. Lowry pick and roll w/anyone available corner pass out priority for open 3pt. (alternate alley ops opportunities w/anyone who rolls).
7. Lowry/Jimmy Isolation top of the key, clear out for read and reactions as available. (alternate Hero/Vincent during their minutes).
8. Bam low High/Low post drop in for turn around jumper, if double available pass out to open 3pt. (alternate takes man off dribble, rare).
9. Duncan/Struss/Vincent/Martin dribble drive off the bounce/off a pick from a pass leaking under the paint for easy layup.
10. Hero/Jimmy heat check 3pt or off balance long 2 (alternate Lowry running 3pt top of the key). Used when coming from behind.
11. Hero pick and roll w/ Deadmon/Yurt during bench minutes. (alternate, w/ Jimmy/Bam during end of games rarely used).
This is Miami's offense in essence broken down in simple terms.
Next year I think, we will looking at 11. being in the top 5 of go to offense ( If he becomes a starter, the Hero & Bam Pick & Roll will be available there for easy scoring).

For anyone keeping track, assuming he doesn't miss a game, he'd have to average 21.8pgg the rest of the way

We're on the Butler/Lowry timeline, because if they decline we're screwed. There's no hiding $75 million in cap space.

They are already declining. Still can be very useful complementary players though.

Closing close games with a scheme of Bam/Herro 2 man game with Lowry spotting up in position to make a play if needed, one of our elite shooters to spread the floor and Jimmy slashing like Wade did in the big 3 era

Thad isn’t the future
he’s the past
Low key, Thad was underrated during his peak, due to being on cherry teams and not having a good #1. Dude would have been the perfect guy to slot into the Heat when Bron left, as we would have got 75% of what Bron gave at less cost and hoopla. Deng wasn’t the right fit for what Spo was doing.
On the Bam side, he has potential to be great, and be on the Heat Mt Rushmore. If this switch can stay flipped for the rest of the season and into the PO then we may be looking at him realising that potential we’ve seen for a few years now.

Re: Miami Heat Regular Season Thread 21-22 Vol. 3
I'm high on Dipo coming back, I wonder if we can roll 10 deep in the playoffs rotation.
I think adjusting minutes depending on whos hot on any given night is the way to go with such a deep roster. Jimmy and Bam should really be the only ones guaranteed to play 34+ minutes a game IMO.
PG : Lowry (30) / Vincent (18)
SG : Duncan (18) / Herro (30)
SF : Jimmy (34) / Dipo (14)
PF : Tucker (30) / martin (18)
C : Bam (36) /Dedmon (12)
Out of rotation (but ready to go if needed) : Strus, Omer, Morris, UD, Highsmith, K.Guy
As you notice We have no choice but to slot players up a position - meaning Martin as a PF and Dipo and SF - simply because our guard rotation is too deep and our power rotation is too thin.
I actully think (hope) Dipo can be a mini-jimmy out there, providing good creating, driving/slashing and finishing or kicking it out to the shooters, while playing good D. So I think Victor has the strength, length and game to be a good SF.
Martin as PF is somewhat worrying to me, But I don't see how we find him minutes elsewhere, and we actually need someone to play PF and he's probably the most suited from the guards.

Spo using Martin like DJJ. Which not really a power forward but I guess you can call a press forward (similar to a press guard which is classically a guard who comes in to run the press defense). He spends much of the time pressing ball handling forwards.

Guys, Brook Lopez is back. Hopefully he isn't the player he was. Dude's old.
Herro and Bam are improving. Scary.
