I remember after the draft there was a set of posters that were speculating bout the jumbo line up, since it puts Niko in a more natural position.... I am not sure how many people were pointing out what this does for Bam on defense.

Bam has always been a great defender, but...we have all watched Bam chase some small dude around, while some other guy (lowery comes to mind) gets abused by another big.

We got a really small sample size....but...damn...in theory...Bam can go do Bam things on defense and just totally mess up some scorer's night and the team would still have legit length to cover the other team's bigs.

To have to fight around Bam all night, and then still have 2 7-ish foot guys lurking behind him......This might not be as big of a hit on defense then some have feared...

Maybe this is not a case of it can't work because Niko could struggle defending 2s and 3s, maybe it is a case this could work because Bam can be a wing defender....

If Miami is indeed where he wants to go, he has the path via FA in 26. Gives Miami huge leverage to put more on table.

A) We need to be the spot
B) Need to find way to route PHX picks to SAC.

This has the makings of a huge blockbuster swap.
