I don't even pay attention to what Q says since he is going to suck again. Only reason he was good last year was because it was a contract year and he was playing with his bff Wade. He's going to get fat again, take a ton of terrible shots, and not try on defense now that he got a multi-year contract, guaransheed.

MIAMI -- Dwyane Wade returned to practice with the Miami Heat on Saturday, his first full workout with teammates since straining his right hamstring on Oct. 5.

Wade went through the entire session without problem, then remained on the court with LeBron James for more work long after most Heat players left the floor. He expects to play Tuesday when the Heat open the season at the Boston Celtics.

I like that bolded part.

Ethan pointed out the following collection of tweets from Chalmers.
“To the people that love me. I appreciate it. To the people that hate me i appreciate it too. To the people that love a person one day and hate u the next…… I got one finger for y’all”

“Song of the day for me is Lil Boosie “BETRAYED”. I swear imma listen to this song all day. And just kno everybody ain’t the person they say they are.”

“So u just gonna keep acting like u don’t kno and keep on going wit the lies huh. Wats in the dark will eventually come to light. My momma taught me that.”

This franchise has proven, over and over, that it is ridiculously committed to continuing the Mario Chalmers Scholarship Program in full force, so I can likely put aside my initial giddiness that he's on the chopping block. Still, that's some strange stuff.

Yeah, more psyched about Wade returning on Tuesday than anything, it really will be the first time we see'em all together.

And smh @ those Chalmers tweets. Guarantee its about a female... I don't know why people air garbage like that over facebook or twitter, unless they're females themselves of course (no offense to any females on the board).

Who has dibs on the first game thread of the season? It's coming up fast. Needs to be a poster with a good W/L record to start things off right. I hear Boston has the best team on paper so we are going to need all the luck we can get.

Jeez, N.O got Bayless for a 1st round pick, hes more of a SG in a PG body and shot 40% from the 3 in the playoffs last year, he'd a be a HUGE improvement over Chalmers and Arroyo, wish we could have traded for him somehow :(

Does wade start off on ray? I know everything is healed but would they take some of the stress off by throwing arroyo/chalmers at him. I know it didn't work so well in the playoffs but you always want Ray isolating more than the others.

.....Some of you are ridiculous lol. The loss of Mike freaking Miller isn't going to curve any games for us.

Especially not 5 games in 2.5 - 3 months lol.

wallacenbaheat

Looking more and more like De'Sean Butler is safe to make Heat roster. There seems to be some uncertainty though about Magloire.

Great article. Had me tearing up. LeBatard can be very good sometimes.

It will be interesting to see if the national media picks up on any of it.

Is it an issue or a non-issue that LeBron and Bosh were not named co-captains. Wade and Haslem were.

4 co-captains would be excessive, but you'd figure LeBron at least would want to be one.

Total non-issue. In the future, if they're worthy of it they'll get that honor. LeBron will still have his voice be heard in the huddle.

Guys, it seems there is double coverage for a lot of our games. lol. Like our home opener for instance.

Some games are being picked up by both SUN and ESPN or SUN and TNT. In any of those two cases should I watch the SUN broadcast? I'm thinking that ESPN's and TNT's coverage and announcers should be better.

I tend to watch Sun. Marv Albert is the only reason I watch other broadcasts, and TNT's studio crew. But I prefer the homers on Sun. Shameless they are...which is how I likes it. PEACE.
