Riley's turning 78 on the 20th, blowing it up completely won't be happening. You do what the Lakers did, you utilize Lowry's expiring contract next season when another team is looking to shed salary.
Herro and Robinson make around Butler money next year... 45 mil but there's a decent number of players that make around that amount that could end up being moved especially if you toss in more assets.
Players in that 45 million range that possibly be moved.. LeBron, Beal, George, Leonard, Gobert, AD, Trae, LaVine, S&T Irving, Siakiam or KP.
Maybe a team that thought they would take a shot this year has decided to retool, I'm looking at NO with CJ McCollum being traded for a younger shooter like Herro to reset that timeline since Zion just wasn't right again. Maybe Denver wants to move on from MPJ, will DeRozan become available? If Atlanta moves either Trae or Murray, would the be ok moving J.Collins contract for an expiring contract and get a backup in Lowry?
It's probably going to be a wild offseason for Miami, it should have been that last season but the FO decided to throw away a season, to hear that the FO "likes this team" and seeing some of the contracts they've handed out in the last few years, maybe it's time to make some changes in the FO by getting some different voices in the decision process.
