Clear as day. Nothing to see here. They are keeping there picks until the right trade comes along for the player they really want.

Shane Larkin (for the money and the youth) might be a better fit than Chris Paul.

When CP3 comes to Miami with his horrific contract and injuries. And Miami gives away a bunch of 1 year contracts for him. I am just got to look at this fanbase and say this one is on you and Pat. You didn’t want to give up your young guns that haven’t proved jack yet in this league and now your stuck with CP3 and possibly Adams huge contracts over the next few years instead of Westbrook who would have dominated in the East. CP3 is on the verge of retirement and Adams is over paid. And now you are out of the 2020 and 2021 free agency market. And we are going to waste Butlers prime years away. First round exit here we come. Even without CP3 deal with are an 7 or 8 seed. Missing out on Westbrook was bad for us.

Exactly why I don't want to do it.

Idc what's in it for OKC, I'm only taking CP if it is a HUGE win for us.

Why, he only had one injury. He returned and looked good.

I would say he looked OK, but he looked much better as a reserve than a starter:

March (12 games, 2 starts): 12.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 4.8apg, 25.4mpg, 42.7%fg, 39.6% 3fg, 63.6%ft.
April (6 games, 6 starts): 11.8ppg, 3.3rpg, 6.3apg, 32.4mpg, 37.0%fg, 29.2% 3fg, 83.3%ft.

I feel a lot more comfortable with Goran in the Wade role, if he's on the roster next season. Let him come in off the bench and push the pace, set guys up and get buckets.

Riley already told you Dragic was his starting PG and took at shot at media for always pushing Winslow into that role.

So because we missed Westbrook we already locked in CP?

I don't see it happening.

Bravo to Pat if he sits out. Our future actually looks bright at this exact moment.

I love how people conjure up trade ideas for Riley only so they can use it as an excuse to bash him.

The media has yet to say we're actually interested in CP3. They only said we could have interest.

Welp. Winslow and BAM aren’t ever going to be all stars. Only hope is on Herro. Miami really should’ve gotten Westbrook. We’re over valuing these kids too much.

I know Pat said that. I was also hoping Pat was taking the piss.

Sadly I don’t think that’s the case #freewinnie

OKC now has 15 first round picks 9 second round picks from now until 2026... What overkill.

Sure it will be very bright if we sit on our hands imo. As long as we don’t touch CP3.

Now now my Heat friends the sky has not fallen upon us, the smart thing to do here is take a step back and breathe

We got Jimmy

We got a promising young player in Herro who’s better than just about everybody expected

I do think the best we can do here is to move Dragic and the likes of JJ and whatever we trash we have to Houston turn around and give Winslow and our picks from the Thunder for Beal

CP3
Beal
Buckets
KO
Bam

6th man Herro

I would be very pleased with this outcome, we’d have to load manage the absolute chit out of Chris Paul, but all in all I think we can win the East with that core

I don't like Winslow starting with Butler. Winslow going to get stuck standing in a corner. Let him QB the second unit and flourish.

Return to Miami Heat
