Man. This forum is gonna get really ugly if we go another off-season striking out on everyone.

At this point I'm not expecting Dame. I'm hoping by some miracle we land Kyrie.

is it time to keep Bam and get rid of everybody else, start fresh with a bunch of picks? On the other hand who would want Duncan's bloated contract? Finally bad financial desicions are catching up to us and will keep us in mediocrity for a long time. Things look hopeless.

Replace Lebron with Lonzo Ball and you’ll pique my interest. Kawhi/Herro/Ball. Jersey patch sponsored by Leon Medical Center.

"Leon" Medical Center? Is Leon the smart Ball bro?

I love the “Leon Med” name drop. Need to be from Hialeah to understand

I think it's granted, we all know how close this team is to winning a chip. For the most part we know what this team is missing. It's frustrating to see this team miss a trade, but we also need to remember the season just ended a few days ago. Let's see what happens in a month.

You know how old people become really cranky and never like to get rid of anything?

I picture Pat sticking his head out of the office and blaming random interns for going into his office and stealing his VHS tapes.

The entitlement here is grotesque. Two weeks ago we were playing in the Finals. Also, Duncan (he of bloated contract) was one of the players who made a difference in the postseason. I know this doesn't jibe with your version of reality, but you shouldn't have burned through all those brain cells.

Why are so many people writing off Dame already? This was Patrick James Riley’s master plan all along; you miss out on Beal because you didn’t want to offer anything that was needed for Dame and now the sky is falling. Patrick ALWAYS gets his whale; sit back and let it happen.

Portland is not getting **** to become legit contenders with #3 and 23

Trade Bam for Capela or Boban. Bam peaked at kentucky and we need size

First take crew (Stephen A, JJ Redick, and Windhorst) saying today it’s time for both sides to part ways when it comes to Lillard if he really wants to win a championship. Said the blazers owe it to him to listen to his requests and get him where he wants. Said the blazers are 2-3 moves away from competing at minimum and there’s nothing out the for the 3rd pick that is a massive needle mover towards that goal.

Thursday will be huge; I’ll be tuned in for sure

Ya'll c'mon. Dudes were just in finals. 2nd straight ECF final appearance. 2 finals appearance in 4 seasons, 3 ECF in 4 seasons. If hopeless is a finals appearance every 2 seasons I'd take that.
The big 3 era spoilt Heat fans. Now we expect championship or bust when that just isn't realistic.

It almost ended without making the playoffs after a highly disappointing season, they were 3 minutes away from that. Luckily Miami were gifted Love and some of Miami's shooters got hot for a few weeks which ended in the finals.

I don't think they can do that to Jimmy.
But yeah, I would not mind to rebuild if they somehow could get #2 pick.

It's not gonna happen, instead they will overpay Gabe/Strus and run it back with a worse team.

We all hope that dame is giving Portland time to see what they can do with the 3rd pick and quietly made it known that if they can’t find anything worthwhile that they trade him to a place he wants

If I had to bet it won’t happen but I also believe that a potential dame trade would be done quietly and quickly without drama so I do think it’s possible that dame could be traded out of nowhere on draft night if Portland keeps the pick

That’s what we need, Draymond. Another player who can’t create for himself

Heat culture preaching championship or bust and Pat Riley talking about whale hunting every year has brainwashed the fan base. That’s why expectations are so high, plus we watched Wade for nearly 2 decades who was the epitome of greatness, it gives you high hopes and expectations
