Okay, here's my counterpoint to your guys' thoughts:
Lead the league in TRB% in '09-10 at age 35.
Lead the league in TRB% in '10-11 at age 36.
Lead the league in TRB% in '11-12 at age 37.
Top 10 (10th) in league in TRB% in '12-13 at age 38; however, Camby was listed as a power forward for this year, so it's expected that his
rebounds would take a dip.
In a limited role, what's so bad about Camby? Yes, I realize he's old and won't see huge playing time, but when he's in there, he's going to be a rebounding force. Isn't that Miami's biggest weakness?
I, for one, would welcome Camby with open arms on a one-year deal at the league minimum.
