I'm not sure who I want to win tomorrow. Before the series I'd have for sure said 6ers because I was more confident in our chances against them. But Boston does look vulnerable now, and I have a hard time seeing Embiid and especially Harden win anything. I hate those 2 clowns. I hope they never win a championship and a loss tomorrow would ensure that they won't at least this year. But it would be sweet to beat them ourselves as well. However if Butler's ankle isn't up to it and they beat us I'd have a hard time watching that shyt...

Trying to take the easy route never goes as planned. I concede Philly is the more favorable matchup, but going through the tougher team better prepares you for whoever is left standing.

we are Alrdy battle tested.. the bucks have Alrdy prepared us.. wat we need is to preserve jimmy and bams health going into the finals..

Preserve Jimmy and Bam? Both have to play well no matter the opponent, Bam especially will have his work cut out for him with Embiid..there wont be any breaks, we are very well looking at a 6 or 7 game series either way.

Sixers all day. Doc is not a good coach. Harden might win them a game, but he'll also single handedly lose them 2 or 3. Tobias is the 2nd worst 40M player of all time behind Ben simmons. Maxey is good. Embiid is good but settles for bad shots when tired. Not scared of sixers.

I would say several similar things about the Celtics. But then mazzula last game started smart Tatum jaylen horford robwill... that lineup scares me. Brogdon dwhite off bench. That's a very good 7. Much rather face sixers. Every game mazzula played Robert williams just 18 mins instead of 30ish was a gift to opponent. Kind of like when spo doesn't play Caleb in favor of Gabe Vincent.

Monty went from overachieving to winning COTY over Spo with a stacked roster.

Now spo is rolling and Monty is canned...

Spo knows.

I am happy with whomever we get out of Boston and Philly. I'd like to see either:

Boston - Pros: obviously more of 'revenge' narrative, and their centers are not behemoths, so don't have to worry about Bam going up against a bigger guy (counter in Cons), this is the better series maybe for Tyler to try and come back in and get re-established (at least based on his reg season numbers), Bam had great numbers vs Boston too, I also think we win longer series in that the more familiar we get with teams, the better. We are so familiar with Boston I see it as a plus tactically.
Boston - Cons - They are the better team than Philly. Their players are mostly two way and harder to exploit than Philly. We may have a harder time hiding Jimmy if he is not 100% if we need to guard 2 x All NBA guards in Tatum and Brown, in theory Tyler should have a harder time returning against Boston as they have a lot of good defensive guards who can also hunt you on offense. We are gonna come up against Jokic or AD in the finals, maybe Bam playing a bigger guy in Embiid is better prep.

PHX lacked the depth after KD trade & unless Monty had a say in it....not on him. So long as that remains the case, whoever they choose to replace him with won't matter, their season will end the same way.

Like I said, it was to be expected. But firing Monty was a panic move at best....lazy one at worst.

Can we just play the Knicks again?

Tough call there. On paper, Miami matches up better with the Celtics, but the Cs are better defensively than the Sixers and also they have more experience deeper in the playoffs. Jaylen Brown has played outrageously well against Miami in the playoffs.

Robert Williams is such an overrated boogeyman to some on here.

He plays limited minutes bc he’s a limited player. He’s an effective luxury when the Celtics can get extended minutes going big without being punished in space for it.

When he doesn’t get targeted and can just sit at the baseline protecting the rim the defense is tough.

Limited offensive and defensive players don’t play 30 minutes bc their shortcomings get exploited in playoff ball

Nothing easy. Everything earned. I want the hardest road possible, the toughest match up to test us - we win that it means we continue to be battle tested/build toughness & a better shot at who ever comes out the West.

Don't understand why we're afraid of C's. We took them to 7 games minus Herro & Lowry. They have a young inexperienced coach that Spo will expose in one of the highest pressure environments that is the ECF.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

I don't have an issue with him having a gun, I have a problem with him not being responsible with a gun. Dancing and waving a gun around isn't responsible.

I wonder if Riley can fleece the Grizzlies in a trade for Papa Doc

If only he had a father figure to tell him right from wro...oh wait, he actually does have a father. Shame he's too busy trying to insert himself into celebrity circles instead of you know....looking after his kid. I know Ja's a grown man, but it's obvious to everyone that he needs direction. I've always had a hard time tolerating parents who live vicariously through their kids....and to make it worse, it almost always harms the kid.
