might be cool to see PG redemption tour but on the other hand he might be setting himself up for another playoff meltdown. we have literally never seen him this consistent so who knows

clippers winning in playoffs is something i will have to see to believe

but i guess after cavs and raps winning the chip, anything is possible

It's going to be frustrating as hell if Miami once again "waits" for a player in FA and misses out on them because they didn't think he'd cost any assets and he ends up being traded to a team he's willing to stay with long term.

This isn't the Knicks of the last 10-20 years, this is a new Knicks era although the same owner who is hands off playing terrible music with his band but also a FO that is alighted with Thibodeau which will be a first in his career as a head coach.

Also with Beal... he's VERY loyal, loyal enough where some team that needs loyalty and has a ton of draft assets, say OKC could make a huge run at him and some other really good players. OKC only has so much space to add newly drafted players.

OKC draft assets till 2027, most 1sts are theirs(high) and also a bunch of mid to late 1sts. OKC won't have roster space to retain all these picks, there will be moves.

I don't know about Presti, but if I were in his position and had Miami's pick and some players I weren't keeping, I might sell cheap a few players to the Eastern Conference to teams that could help teams beat Miami in the regular season to get an even higher pick which could end up being extremely valuable if Miami is near the bottom of the conference.
