As for Ray, with the Clippers supposedly working hard to sign Jamal Crawford, I'm hoping Allen sees us as the only team that REALLY wants him.

Heard on the radio that Allen's wife has a reality show in Boston.

Ray Allen promised Boston they would get the last word, the final team to talk to him after Mia, LAC.

I am even more convinced he is not leaving Boston. The Celtics are offering double the money Miami is. All of his teammates are there. Doc wants him back. Bradley is out until December. Terry will play on the bench, so Allen will be the starter again until Bradley is back.

You think he suddenly wants to leave? Because what? They tried to trade him? The chances of forgiving Boston for that is much greater than him coming to the Heat.

He is using us for leverage. Period.

I'm willing to sig bet that he's not coming... and when this causes us to miss out on other FA's, we are going to be F'ed.

I really hope Lebron goes to work with Hakeem again this summer. It helped him so much last season and that was with pretty basic moves. Another few weeks with the Dream and he would be even more unstoppable.

lol, yeah that would be funny .. if the visit to LA was actually to meet with Riley & not the Clips! Seriously though, here is how I'm approaching this.

1) I think he's going back to Boston. Too much history there for him to leave and come join us for less money and a somewhat similar role.
2) Clips are a definite possibility and the fact that Nick Young's name has cropped up all of a sudden might indicate some sort of sign & trade to offer Ray a better deal
3) If both of these don't happen and he joins the Heat, then I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Some of you are setting up yourselves for disappointment. It's nice to be excited, but don't be too down if this does not go down as you expect it to.
