We still have Pittman. He's in shape. If he can control his fouls...and that's a big if, then he'll be fine. Anyone else we can afford at C will be a stiff. Hopefully someone good gets released. PEACE.

Everyone's writing Miller off. I expect him to surprise you all next season.

The Heat are not getting a well known center. Centers cost $$$. We just need a banger down low to start off games.

He won't even get playing time though.

Wade/Allen
James/Battier

Any open minutes at the SG/SF position needs to go to Allen or Battier

I agree our best shot might be if one of young guys simply steps up. we have 3 potential Centers on our hands : Pittman, Justin Hamilton and Jarvis Varnado. all will play in the summer league for us. it's not that crazy to believe one can emerge as a decent Center.

I hope you're right, but Miller is never healthy. Back problems don't go away easily. PEACE.

Big Pitt needs to step up man. He better dominate in the Summer League. I wouldn't be surprised if Curry came back.

Curry was useless and he can't defend. He couldn't defend when he was good, how much more now?

If D12 goes to BK we might have a bit of trouble but i still aint scared of any team in the nba to be honest with you. I fully expect a repeat from this team. At this point Riley should be trying to convince Ronny to come back you can't get that type of cheerleading from anywhere else LOL.

I believe Pitt is that guy. I fully remember him playing nice defense on dwight howard in preseason.

But got murdered by Dwight in during the season.

I hope he's the one though. That would be immense. We'll see how summer league goes.

Once Pitt learns to defend more and foul less, he'll be serviceable. Against Brooklyn (if they get Dwight), we'd really have no trouble with them if we had a guy to play 1on1 defense against Dwight. When Perkins was on the Celtics, they didn't have much trouble against the Magic because they could defend Dwight 1on1.

Id go after Kenyon Martin. He isnt a C but he can play some PF and occasional C with our team. He is good defensively too.

If only we could just groom Pitt into a defensive stopper and rebounder. Screw any hopes of trying to teach him post offense, and just concentrate on teaching him how to defend guys like Bynum and Dwight. C'mon Zo!

Hard to do that when Bynum goes up for hook shot and doesn't even see Pitt because he's so short.

This. There's no way he's 6'11. Dude's 6'9 on a tall day and even he knows it.
