Re: Miami HEAT Offseason/Trades/FA Thread: Sardine Central 2.0
My take. He is going to Boston. They wanted to just let the Celtics know so that they could make the necessary trade(s) to make room for the max offer for Hayward. Didn't want news of the decision to get out so that Boston won't get fleeced.
Either that or Boston just told them they can't do a max offer and now Gordon has to rethink/regroup on what he wants to do
either way, are you not entertained??

ok, so it seems that the decision leaked before he could tell utah, and now the agent is trying to backtrack, so hayward can tell utah.

Guys take my word for it unless we see Miami signs him just figure we're off the list. We were already disappointed by the "fake" news. No need to get burnt twice. In my mind he's a Celtic.

Going to Walmart and to get some Chinese food. Better be some news when I get back.

Tank? Hell of a plan when we don't have a draft pick
Top 7 protected
Then unprotected the following year if that's the case. If we're bad enough for a top 7 pick, then we'll be bad enough the following year and be about the same range and lose the pick, unless we drafted a LeBron type of monster.

If we don't land him, what about stretching McBob, waiving Ellington, resigning our guys, and adding JayMichael Green? He's like Draymond lite and would for perfectly with this team...

The Utah Jazz are still waiting to be told of Gordon Hayward's intentions, league source tells ESPN. Hayward hasn't told them his plans yet.
Just chilllll guys
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN that's cold to have the news to Boston out before he tells the Jazz he's leaving. Should have been the first team he told that he was leaving...Smh.

The longer this takes the less i think he's actually going to Boston. At this point you would think he would just announce he's going to Boston already. His agent doesn't seem to be on the same page as all these "journalists." Something fishy is going on. I feel like this bodes well for Utah.

If Hayward really goes Boston it shows that his information leaked and he didn't tell Utah anything of a heads up after 7 years. If that's the case that's not the kind of guy I want on my squad.
