Cant wait for 2021 when our fans say they dont want a 32 year old Beal tying up 35% of our cap in 2025 lol

Everyone needs to stop hopping on that Beal to Miami Bus. That deal isn’t happening and is dead at least until the trading deadline. We have nothing they want. And Pat Riley clearly isn’t giving up anything. And no we aren’t or shouldn’t parlay our contract players for CP3 and a few draft picks to open up trade talking in the hopes that Washington will take those picks and our young players when we could just wait it out and get Beal without giving up much of anything.

It hurts not getting Westbrook but I'm slowly doing better if anyone cares. Doctor said I should be back to my normal self in 3 days. October the latest.

We are only talking about Winslow and Bam now. The others I wasn’t referring to. To me Winslow has a ceiling of Dragic which is great for us but also means he won’t be an All Star but perhaps once. I feel Bam is overrated but still a quality starter. These boys won’t really be All Stars because of the talent ahead of them in this league. It doesn’t mean they aren’t good. Grant Williams has a neat story...he and Admiral were out of shape and not ready to play. Barnes challenges them and would make them get in shape.

Would rather max out as the 3 seed with them than go into cap hell with westbrook and max out at the 3 seed with him

Please No CP3! OKC should wait until Dec 15 when the Lakers can deal all of their contracts they signed this summer. Good for OKC they can trade CP3 to the Lakers and get back all the 1 year contracts. Just don't send CP3 here.

I have watched nearly every Heat game since the late 80s. Especially since the Riley era. The Heat organization and fans always overrate the their players. Example TJ. I don't want to make bad trades period. Trading Bam, Winslow, Herro and two FRP's for Westbrook going into his 30's is a bad trade especially when the next best offer is 34yo CP3 and two FRP's. Even if we know for a fact Bam and Winslow won't get any better (which we don't) it's still bad.

I’m furious we missed on Russ absolutely furious. I think we’re 100% in play for CP3 now too lol I can’t believe we thought we were getting Russ and now we’re going to end up with CP3. Not great.

We better be getting some serious picks back, I’m not taking that contract for damn expirings. We need picks so we can move them on for another trade, hopefully Beal and keep Dragic so we can move him on for Beal or another star. Trade Johnson and Waiters to the thunder.

PG: Paul/Dragic/Nunn
SG: Butler/Herro
SF: Winslow/Jones/Robinson
PF: Olynk/Leonard
C: Bam/Howard

Get Howard through buyout. We have multiple assets for another star including picks. It’s not as good as Westbrook but it’s still nice. If Paul stays healthy he’s a better fit for Butler imo.

Hey Miami fans. Didn't want to create a new thread, but I was curious about opinions regarding a second star.

Any preferences on who each of you would like to see paired with Butler? I keep hearing Beal, but are there others that can plausibly be done with your current assets? Any 2020 free agents to eye (like Draymond and... whoever else is a FA next year)?

Don’t you mean 8th seed remember we traded our hope for free agency away for CP3 who won’t do anything positive for this franchise. By the way the Lakers board was calling they are missing their bandwagon boy shouldn’t you be over there crying over Kawhi and PG.

We would like Giannis, James Harden, and Steph Curry.

Harden will be upset after not being champion and never getting the ball.

I say stay put until the trading deadline and see what happens. I am sure we can get a sweet deal on a used All Star then.

I trust that riley will at minimum get us 3 first round picks and none of our young talent would be moved. It will be expirings and 1 year contracts moved..

I mean riley cant possibly screw our franchise by trading anything of value for CP3 unless he suddenly started to hate the Heat...

If presti calls asking for assets, the only thing Riley should send Presti is pan con pinga, and hold the pan..

I think it’s obvious that this is going to be a 3-way trade. It won’t be finalised just yet.

Similar to when we traded Whiteside for Harkless & Leonard. We ended up flipping Harkless to the Clippers.

We will get Paul out of this
