Spo will have his work out for him. I expect he will have practice this weekend focused on defense. Doubt there will be any change on offense. But defensively he has some tools to be creative with. I expect SLO Mo to become the small ball center.

There is massive length defensively in SLO Mo, Ware, Wiggins, and Bam. It’s gonna cause a lot of problem for teams to run PnR

I don't think we do, but does somebody think we need an enforcer now? by the way...did Somebody want jb to get paid sixty million dollars a year?

Spo must be licking his chops w/ his new defensive aces. This creative process will be fun for him & his coaching staff. We’re going to maximise the hell out of Wiggins & Off Night. Our youngens got us to 6th w/out Jimmy. We now can add Wiggins w/ his 17ppg ave. Vry excited ahead.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Kinda why i wanted Tucker back. Even if we had to choose him over power of friendship Love. Sometimes you need a little crazy chirping from the bench or ready to check in and deliver some hard fouls when things start getting chippy. Tucker has a knack for getting into peoples heads. Would have been like UD. I understand though we couldn’t roster both Tucker and Love. Would have been nice to send Love back to Cali with Butler and we kept Tucker but oh well.

Most of them are gone now. Bout 500k And1s too.

IggieCC and HeatWillRise were the ultimate And 1 merchants. Miss those guys

Chalm Down, Iggie, HWR, Kangaroo, DefenseWins, etc. They all moved on. Oh well, weve got a strong crew here now. Even the old heads are coming back.

I drop in whenever periodically, Iggie and goodboy were funny as hell. Maroko during the big 3 years with the gifs were classic

This board never disappoints.

I don’t think we own any more second rd picks. 2026 went to Raps for Mitchell and 2031 went to Utah. Picking up on 2027 2nd looks be to locked in a million scenarios. 2032 2nd will open next year. Pay out 2025 to OKC which looks to be a high probability will open up a good allotment of picks to trade. If for some reason we stumble and end up with 2 1st round picks in 2025 we can always trade one for a future pick that blocks the Hornets and maintains flexibility.

We are under the first apron so we can get a buyout but that means we might need to cut someone. Overall this entertaining period of drama is over, now we just need to focus on Ware, Herro and Bam. Low down Mickey is got to be a little pissed, he is paying what 4 mil in taxes and losing out on an addition 10+ million in tax revenue sharing, thats a 14+ mil difference.

yes but pj Is a big bully and somewhat of an ahole Street wise guy... Do you really want that everyday among this young team?

Plus you know that spo would end up playing him a lot... Maybe even starting him

I've been here for a long time and I don't post much, but read often. Many characters have made their way through this board through the years. Thanks for all the insight and entertainment!

Duncan’s ETO carries 9.8 million guaranteed next year. I think it’s almost certain we offer him and gladly accepts the Buddy Hield contract. Potential to lower the cap figure by over 11 million next year giving us some much needed flexibility under the tax. With the savings we will be able to asses if we want to keep Davion Mitchell as a RFA. Duncan also becomes a more platable tradeable contract at 9 mil a year.

Yes. Duncan himself has said he was one of the best teammates he’s ever had. He has his players backs. Sucks to play against him glad when he’s on your team guy.

They did everything they could. It was a small miracle they even it got it that low. I broke down that next year either Duncan extends at something close to his ETO guarantee or he’ll be gone. He’s a culture soldier lifer so he’s extending for the Hield figure almost guaranteed at this point.

Western scout on Kyle Anderson: “He’s one of the highest IQ players in the league, in my view. From afar, he’s one of those guys you might say, ‘What does he do?’ But he has value. Not a great shooter, but people have greater appreciation when they see him day-to-day. He’s an underrated leader from a role player standpoint. He’s a smart team defender and lends to winning.”

Lol Petty Butler with the Biden hit piece on Riley. Next up on Athletic, Pat Riley sheets his pants. I think there was a tiny tiny chance one day Butler would get his jersey retired. That's done.
