I keep reading heat twitter talking about getting picks + Paul and flip picks and change for Beal lol. People need to understand that after next year cp3 and jimmy will combine to make 75 mil. Even if you add Beal that’s pretty much all of the cap space, so you have a high paying, non championship team, with no bench.

If you’re going to go for Beal you have to forgo pursuing CP (we lack the assets for Beal anyway). If you trade for Paul you’re content adding another star “name” to pair with Jimmy and allowing the young guys to continue to develop. Then again we can always do nothing, we arent forced to make a trade.

I don’t think Beal is the guy we go crazy over. Let him come to us in 2021. If it was Kawhi or Giannis then we try and part the seas and get them now. We missed a whale in Westbrook we should’ve struck while the iron was hot. Now we stay a treadmill team until 2021. Hope we hit big in 2020 draft and pray to whatever Gods you pray to that Giannis is the next unhappy star 2 years from now.

sad that we didnt got westboork but i think i'll go the majority here and wait for at least another year with this core of jimmy plus youngsters.let see how far it can get us.as of now i'm thinking a 6-8 seed and all that depends on the coaching philosophy going forward and....injuries :roll:

i honestly dont see how this could work well for the heat since paul is already washed up .by that then the heat should also pursue stoudamire and ellis

Only thing I could try to convince myself to appreciate is the influence CP3 will have on Winslow and Herro in the P&R. Also at least CP3 can spot up while Winslow attacks? sigh goodnight
