Happy New Years everyone. Let's hope health returns so the team can get back on track preparing this team for a title run this playoffs. I think the season is too long anyways so this might be blessing in disguise by giving the rotation players some leg rest.

I know there’s a lot of season left and we could still get the 1st seed but if not, the current standings would be perfect for us at 4. Bulls are at 1 so they’d be our 2nd round matchup and we’d avoid the Nets or Bucks until the ECF

If the Heat are healthy going into the playoffs I rather play Nets early as possible. Do not want them gaining a rhythm in the playoffs. Bucks is the team I fear the most. They know how to win in the playoffs.

Just picked up tickets for me and my girl for the Heat-Kings game. Fricken $44 bucks for both after fees, etc. Hope nobody else goes on protocol. I'd love to see Jimmy live!

Is there anyway the Heat can rea quite Goran this season?

Would a trade to another team, then buyout allow him to be resigned by Miami?

Nah. He’s a terrible fit in our big man rotation. We need a 4 that can shoot or at least keep teams honest with a mid range jumper. Harrell is a small ball Center and when everyone gets back we go three deep in that spot with Bam,Yurt, and Dedmon. We need someone to come in and score at the 4 behind Tucker.

It’s not happening this year.

Morris is highly questionable right now to be relied upon. They need to be exploring options for an upgrade.

He was playing fine before the whiplash. Whats the problem with his recovery?

Wizards are fighting for the playoffs. no way they will help us out in any way regardless of Harrell's fit here. if it comes to that they'll ship him West for a 2nd round pick

I agree with you guys but Harrell is more affordable than others. Detroit will want FRP or good young player for Grant. Turner is more expensive than you think. Most teams will give better packages than us. Sacramento's trade priority is Bagley and Hield. There's no reason they sent Barnes.

I think the Wizards will decide to rebuild before the deadline. Their good start to the season was completely fake. Even if they make the play-offs with this team, they will definitely be an easy bite in the first round.

Close to 2 months and still not able to take the court. Apparently his recovery not going along so smoothly. We can’t even get solid updates about his recovery without getting yelled at.

I know it’s not possible via Toronto trade nor release this season. But is it possible if he were acquired in a trade with another team then released?

The CBA states he could be reacquired if he were waived but not so if the player receives “compensation protection” it may or may not apply to a buyout, I’m just not sure

What salary are we sending out in exchange for Harrell's $9.7 on the books? We only have 6 players making above the minimum and I doubt we'd be willing to part with any of them for Harrell: Yimmy, Bam, Lowry, Duncan, Tucker, Herro

*I know some people would suggest Duncan here but we aren't trading our only proven 3pt shooting specialist for a backup defensive liability who can't shoot outside of 3 feet. And despite Duncan's brutally disappointing performance through 35 games, he actually is getting better from 3 as the season progresses: 32% in 6 gms October, 33% in 15 gms November, 38% in 14 gms December

If the Nets are healthy and whole with Kyrie they can sweep us. Same thing with the Bucks. We are looking at the reality of back to back seasons getting swept if we face the Nets or Bucks and this is with spending over 250 mil in the offseason.

Uh this seems a bit melodramatic for the sake of being so. Not sure what the Heat when healthy this season have shown you to believe that an inevitable sweep to either of those teams is any kind of reality
