What kind of scout talks about how a player being washed with how he performed in the playoffs with the knowledge that the player was coming off surgery, hadn't played healthy for multiple years, didn't getting adequate ramp up time to get his game legs(which usually takes about a month of regular season games that Spoelstra decided not to give him).

Did the literal scout watch Herro in the playoffs?

In looking at Dipo and prospective value to the team, I see his baseline as a better version of Derrick White. White may not be great, but he unlocks a lot for Boston to be successful. Now look at White’s contract.

I don’t see a scenario where Oladipo regresses. Dude played in 8 regular season games and then ended up being a top 5 important player for us in the playoffs.

We need to make use of his value in some form or fashion (whether it’s using his bird rights to retain him or a Sign and Trade). The fact that Tyler Herro and Gabe Vincent are on the team does not mean we should just wash our hands of VO. Not in the salary cap NBA

I’m going to need Kyrie or Beal in a Heat jersey if we’re giving up on Dipo.

Didn’t Riley and Spo just hype up in their exit interviews how great of a summer this would be for Dipo?

Two theories:

    (1) The general hopelessness surrounding the team at the moment is a deliberate false flag operation meant to discredit any future tampering allegations when we do land the Big Fish.

    (2) We really are phuked.

Riley said they would talk to Dipo’s agent. Apparently the agent has his own agenda that might not be working for us.

Herro extension is worth it considering what Brunson is about to get. His contract will also be easier to flip next year when extension kicks in.

Similar to the Robinson signing, that's a mistake. Herro is a victim on defense and too limited on the offensive end. Herro needs the ball in his hands in order to score enough to justify that salary, but he's not good enough to justify letting him dominate the ball that much.

If Dipo really does leave, that'll hurt to see. For someone who's been with the team for such a small amount of time, it feels like it's just meant for him to be with us.
