I wish he'd remember to take a page from Jerry West's book of team building now and then. ...yeah...that's quite a user name I have although it hardly rises to the movie version of Bret Easton Ellis' masterpiece. .
Still holding hope that Riles will go a different route in a acquiring a superstar, i.e. trade for draft pick or land disgruntled star, but wholeheartedly agree that a Superstar/franchise player is needed... Not just borderline allstars in a weak conference.

I don't get why people are so upset. Miami was a dark horse for Hayward to begin with.

Can't wait to see Spo turn Rudy into Prime Melo.

Well that list makes me want to just blow this team up and try to save money for cap room next year.

Thanks I like your username.
But I get that, but it goes to show how reputable Riley is around the league to land such meetings. He striked out on really obvious ones that didnt work, but him trying is what makes him an excellent GM.

Pat and Spo were both out west too. They have to return to Miami. I hope they have a good plan. I'm looking forward to a great season. Beating Boston will be even more special now.
Bummer for Utah. They worked hard to get the team together. Maybe Ingles takes a step forward now, though. They also drafted well.
Also, I'm not interested in LMA unless he's very cheap.

Well TJ's contract around LMA's contract in total but ends a year later. LMA has a team option next season.

I think the challenge of coming out and proving to these FAs how good our team can be is pretty exciting. Let's see how these guys prove themselves next year. Several players have room to grow and improve.

Too bad we are "loaded" in the backcourt....I'd definitely at least look into Hardaway Jr.

Exactly.
He wasn't even on the Heat radar 2 weeks ago.
