Nah, I'm gonna have to call you out because you're talking about my group.

General Board Moderators: KingDavid, Domejandro, cupcakesnake, Harry Garris, Dirk, ken6199, infinite11285, zimpy27, bwgood77, bisme37

None of these guys target Heat posters. I've told all of you plenty of times to come to the general board, but follow the rules of that house; don't post there like it's the Heat board or you get strikes and bans. I wanted all you to get more active there because so many of you have an incredible wealth of knowledge about a lot of things, but especially basketball. But that invitation was for civil discourse and not the following;

Knicks, a LOSER franchise with sub .500 W/L record historically, 2 NBA Titles and 4 NBA Finals in 77 years.
Heat, a winning franchise with W/L record above .500, 3 titles and 6 NBA Finals in 35 years.

Which one is the best franchise? Sure as hell ain’t the Knicks!!!

^^^a GLOBAL MOD told you this in response to this strike; "If you want to trash other frachises, you can do it on your team board. I imagine you understand your multiple posts in this topic aren't conductive to any good discussion." Which is exactly what I've warned all of you about.

You're not about to shrug off accountability and say that we target Heat fans because you've been disciplined. Anyone that makes posts like you did on the general board would have accumulated FIVE strikes. You got off with TWO. We don't target fans, we target bad posts. It's not the tsherkin era of 10 years ago where he was quick to ban. We are a fair, relaxed group that uses a strike system too remain fair and objective.

You just went unhinged/postal in most of these quotes man.

If you feel you were unfairly moderated in any of these quotes, please tell me and I'll get Howard Mass (the site owner) in here asap to remedy it.

I promise Heat fans are not targeted. No fans are; not even bad posters, just bad posts.

Oh I admit it that I went over the top and even did so when communicated with the mod who did it. But it took weeks for the Knicks fan telling Heat fans to blow him to get banned.

Oh I was hawking that Heat v Knicks thread every single game. I put it on myself to mod that thread. Either side would get frustrated if their team lost, so I was editing both heat fan and knick fan posts that were going a little too far and asking them both to keep the personal jabs down. 99.9% of everyone did after a little begging publicly. The light jabs I let happen because Heat/Knicks fans always talk **** to one another. I encouraged everyone in that thread to throw light jabs, but to keep it from getting too personal or else I'd have to squad wipe.

Admittedly, after we won, I vacated that thread, celebrating with y'all here. Completely missed his posts or else I would have banned him from the site for several days like I did to another knick poster that went too far during the series so they can cool off completely.

I just checked the poster that wanted other men to blow him, he has a spotless record since he joined in 2011. It was clear frustration. He was banned for a bit after some deliberation. Just report it and we'll handle it. We all see the reports, we can't ignore them.

What would be everyone’s ideal starting lineup?

I’d be good with seeing..
Vincent/Robinson/Butler/Bam/Love

Play Strus off the bench…please

I'd start Duncan or Caleb Martin tmmrw and shoot the chit like there's no tmmrw. Strus shouldn't have the floor in this situation

Watching the highlights from last game again, they hit so many timely shots. We're gonna have to have one our best defensive outings if we're gonna have a chance next game.

I've been thinking. I think the best way to guard Jokic is giving space on the 3pt like and playing everyone else tight. Giving him 2s he's not likely to miss. When he gets deep in the paint it's the Butler effect from the Bucks series where he either makes an easy high percentage shot around the rim or makes the right pass to an open shooter or slasher. Yes he'll hit some 3s but at this point let's go with the percentages. I can live with him taking 3s and long 2s for most of his attempts. His 3pt shot takes long to set up where a defender can also recover decent enough to contest it.

Still don’t understand why Highsmith fell completely out of the rotation after playing well.

The Strus is def not loose.

Whatever coach gimmick to get these guys loose is what we need.

Frm a respectable capper i know. Insight from the outside in especially about Jimmy.

Spo looked as defeated as you'll ever see a head coach look during a post-game presser. He knows the series is over. His undrafted guys have maxed out their talent output and are no match for the potent and more talented Nuggets. Now with two days' rest, they fly to Denver to play in altitude. Spo seems to really like this "gnarly" word. Expects his team to battle and bring it back to Miami. I also expect to land a date with Jennifer Lawrence.

The HEAT never stood a chance from the moment their leader (Butler) mentally checked out of the Finals series. I've never seen anything like it before. He's been emotionless the entire series. Zero expression, like zero. GM 4 with a chance to knot the series at 2-2, he did absolutely nothing to inspire, lead or galvanize the team,
Kevin Love tried in the 3rd qtr but he's too old now.

-9 is a high number and i expect the Nuggets to cover but the Miami bench who will enter the game in extended garbage time, are always aware of the Vegas line and will try hard to beat the spread. Potential for a backdoor garbage time cover is possible, unless Denver is crushing these guys by 25+ (I can't see that as Miami does not have a team of quitters, even though their leader quit before the series started) most bizzaro thing I've ever seen in Finals history. That dude cannot wait for this series to be over, there is no doubt in my mind.

He has no horse in this race & speaking from observation. What he says about Butler is what everybody sees watching him play these finals especially in contrast to how he played in the first 3 rounds regardless of injury. Jimmy does look like he's ready for this thing to finish. Our chances were always going to be low if our leader & leading scorer these playoffs is not on his A-game. But not only will lack of scoring from Jimmy make things tougher but also his lack of killer mindset, aggression and swagger, all the things that made Jimmy him, which the team leans on and follows, will also affect this team. They take his lead but he hasn't been giving them much, far below the usual Jimmy standard.

For us to win game 5 and Kenny Smith also stated it after gm4, Jimmy must look to score. Unfortunately Jimmy has no explosion & has been passing it out too many times for my liking once he gets into the middle of the paint. It's put a lot of pressure on our shooters wich may have maxed out. He's game is bully ball and freethrows & he just hasn't been able to do that.

I'm being realistic w/ gm5, i do think we have one more in us to prevent a gentlemen sweep but it's going to take 40+% 3pt shooting from our shooters and if not Jimmy has to score 27+. I don't expect Bam to drop 40+ for us to win. We've always gone as far as Jimmy takes us but Jimmy just lacks any emotions - this may have spread to the rest of the team.

Jimbo's talking but the spirit & soul just isn't there.

Whoever that is really laid to into Jimmy, sheesh. Numbers aside, Jimmy looked more engaged in the Boston series. The spat with Williams, taunting Horford, telling Bam he doesn't want to hold the ECF trophy he'll get the next one. We haven't seen him with any fire or emotion at any point in this series and its quite bizarre..not LeBron 2011 bizarre, but I've got no explanation for it.
