I don’t think anyone needs to post on the board that we let Crowder and Tucker go lol
We all know that already right?
I also know after LeBron left this franchise wasn't building towards anything but D.Wade (after the FO refused to pay him) convinced Butler (his teammate in CHICAGO) the Heat's environment was a good fit for him, without that this franchise might just be a perennial play-in team since it won't tank.
It's like arguing the Chiago Bulls FO was good during the MJ years, he and Phil Jackson carried that franchise, they've done nothing since which was over 20 years ago.
Who drafted D wade? Oh that’s right.
Also, you are kind of out of your element here because there was much more to Wade leaving the Heat. The relationship between Riley and wade was never the same after wade sat there and watched Lebron leave without giving Riley a heads up.
I was in shock Miami didn't pay D.Wade and your franchise let him walk.
Riley and this FO did a fantastic job for Miami, I'm just saying the last 7-8 years haven't been good. They got the Bam pick right, but they also overpaid a bunch of marginal players to the point you have 2 vet minimum players and a recent buyout starting in the finals.
I will say, the culture that's been put in place by Riley and his support of Spoelstra is still paying dividends, the talent evaluations though in the last 7-8 years, eh, not all that great.
