If you believe in Ware... I'm sure you could send Bam and some other contracts to get KD. They don't need another shooter, so Herro is likely out of the picture, they can't move Beal and don't want to move Booker.

Not only is Ware not getting moved for KD, the trade doesn't even work. Jimmy+Jovic+Ware is too much salary for Phoenix to take back since they cannot trade more than one player at a time.

I think it's close between them. Jovic likely a better role player fit with star players given I don't expect either to be the star themselves. Both clear Jabari Smith tho lol

I think the Warriors are looking to get more draft assets to go along with Butler to pry KD away. They possibly could get some draft assets out of some of their younger players, then get the expiring's/decent players to send to Miami for Butler. Miami would probably end up with decent short term players and a couple of draft assets for Butler and contract savings, basically what they've been asking for.

Phoenix isn't trading Butler + an asset for KD, they're wanting as much as they can get for KD and GS is trying to give them that.
