Terry Rozier
Josh "McBob" McRoberts
Corpse of Danny Granger

I disagree on Danny Granger he wasn't expected to be that much of needle mover, his pick up was similar to the Rashard Lewis one.

I also disagree with Mcroberts because he was picked up with the belief we would have retained Bron. Had Bron stayed he would have been a nice complementary piece. The moment Bron left it was doomed to fail.

Kyle Lowry and its not even close.

Lowry was one of the main reasons we had a high playoff seeding the first year he was here. He wasn’t that bad. McWubert biggest issue was health if I remember correctly, dude was like Mr Glass for us unfortunately.

To rectify this rozier debacle:

Make roziers contract immediately voidable (money doesnt need to be paid out not count on the cap) at the discretion of the team.

Herro, rozier, ware, jak, and fontecchio to the bucks.

They waive nuke rozier. Tank for AJ

Next year:

Jak, herro, AJ, turner, and ware.

Giannis, kuzma, and baby giannis to the Heat.

Mitchell, Powell (resigned), wiggins (could be traded for space if confident in jovic or kuzma), giannis, and bam.

Numbers work through spotrac. Jak gets absorbed into the rmle.

Imo, that's a ring contender. :D

Kyle Lowry
3 years, $85M sign-and-trade

Brought in to be a veteran floor general and playoff stabilizer.
But he showed up out of shape, dealt with recurring injuries, and underperformed in the playoffs.
Averaged just ~11 PPG and struggled to mesh with Butler & Bam.

By Year 2, was coming off the bench behind Gabe Vincent.

I agree with what you’re saying however the nba has long lost its luster. It’s no coincidence it’s sucked since Adam Silver took over. He’s been appealing to the least common denominator fan since day 1

Oh, I completely agree but this is the point where I’m now starting to lose interest. I guess I’ve lost my suspension of disbelief after this latest scandal. Silver has got to go.

For sure it’s wild. The Luka deal like someone mentioned here is the most clear example of a rigged league in the history of sports. You have a situation where the Lakers were in the process of getting sold for 10 Billion which obviously is the highest valuation ever but that couldn’t be done unless you have a shiny toy like Luka as part of the equation. This gambling scandal is just another hit to an already beaten down nba reputation

I would disagree.

Antoine Walker for Mark Blount and Ricky Davis, two absolute disasters as Heat players

Think about what you’re typing for a minute…. Why would the Hornets knowingly do that?

Great question. "Four teams were mentioned in the illegal sports gambling investigation as being bet on - the Charlotte Hornets, Los Angeles Lakers, Toronto Raptors, and Portland Trail Blazers."

Apparently the DOJ is investigating them now so...why indeed would they do this.

Would be interesting to know if Charlotte knew something was going on and swept it under the rug.

Now that could work in our favor.

You guys are sounding thirsty right now. Think about it… Miami traded big booty Lowry at a substantial salary that was basically waived by Charlotte and a draft pick. You got years of value out of a player. And you have the audacity to believe you’re getting a pick back? That a team REALLY traded you a damaged player for a draft pick and the league allowed it? He played for Charlotte the year after he pulled that bs before being traded, but you and the other fella are forgetting that part.

Carry on.

We've got the audacity?!?

Charlotte traded us a player they KNEW had been investigated for the worst sin possible in sports! And they and the league both kept that FACT from us. Value? What value did we get? He's been useless since coming here!

Looks to me as if you have some serious audacity coming here and telling us we don't have the right to be upset!

And if you don't want to read about how upset we are, you have far more options for recourse than we do to recoup our stolen value; you can read a different thread, add people to your foes list, or see yourself out. Your choice

McRoberts was never going to be a nice anything. He was injured when we signed him and he stayed injured the rest of his career.

Oh, dont worry my friend. I’m never coming back to a Miami Heat fan forum for any reason.

Keep shooting for Mars for that draft pick back with your conspiracy theories! I’ve got some gold in North Carolina to sell you guys.

I still will be very patient with these accusations. The NBA appears to not fully trust these accusations.
