Fox is exactly what the team needs. Quick gaurd that can get to the hol easily with breakdown moves

Not really sure what Sacto values more, young players/draft picks or win-now pieces, but we'll have trouble competing with other teams on both angles, especially the first. Plus his wife supposedly wants to be in Texas. Not sure how much water that holds, but it atleast seems to be playing a factor.

Our best hope is for us to draft our PG of the future through the draft, in either 2025 or 2026.

I was thinking the same thing. If we can find gems like Ware, Herro, and Bam in the draft, I trust our scouts to select a solid PG as well.

I know Jaime is a bit out of funk lately but showed promise last year, Jovic still has this massive upside, our drafting team is on the spot the last few year, well aside for Achuwa I guess lol

I checked and pretty much all they have left is:

2025: least fav UTA, CLE or MIN
2027: least fav: UTA, CLE or MIN
2029: least fav: UTA, CLE or MIN

Bridges may still be burned, but if I’m not mistaken, Mav Carter had a conversation with Riley last year. I get the sense that Rich Paul and his top clients might start removing Miami from their list because we don’t always cater to every superstar’s demands.

That said, some Klutch role players, like Burks, could be sent here with no issues.

We barely even play Burks. Nice way to endear themselves to the Klutch mafia lol. I’m sure Burks is probably traded at the deadline.

All these guys drafted over the past 8 years have out played their draft position. The Heats eye for gauging talent is pretty keen. I trust them to make the right choice for us.

On a serious note. We have the right supporting pieces. We just need to hit on a late star in the draft where we're picking. We need to get lucky and hit on a Jokic, Kawhi, Booker, PG13, Butler etc.
