Gone are Rozier, Duncan, Jovic and Jaime. We keep our picks this year, but include two future 1sts for KD.

E. Z.

So you think Suns would trade KD for a package involving those 4? And then KD would be coming off the bench? Is this sarcasm? :)

The Suns get Jaime, Jovic and 2 1sts.

KD then plays only the 4th quarter.

Easy peasy.

Thrived as a role player next to elite superstars

He’d be terrific on teams like the Lakers Warriors, and OKC

Not as the pilot or even co pilot of his own vessel

He fit in and was a superstar on that team in his own regard.

Co piloted 3 very deep playoff runs, 2 of which were surrounded by a mediocre roster.

Not having a complete view of Adebayo as a player but I will tell my opinion for him and Herro.

Adebayo is obvious not a role player. He is a player who can score 20-22 ppg while playing good defense and collect 10-12 rebounds.
This is his role now with Miami and I think it is fair from Spoelstra.
He is a very good player. Obvious not a role player and I think(sorry about that) not a superstar.

Herro is talented and can score the ball but sometimes he decides to shoot whatever the circumstances are.
He seems to not play for the win but for his ego.
This is not bad if you are Steph Curry or Michael Jordan and I think many superstars have it.
But Herro has to control it.

I think the key for Miami to win is to change Herro and not change Adebayo.
Adebayo does his job very well.
Herro has to change his mindset a little bit in order to be a winning player.

Herro reminds me a little bit of Lavine. A very good scorer who never played for the win.
Lets see if Herro can be more than that.

Personally I like them both as players and personalities from what I have seen.

And I think Miami can change the story in playoffs.
I agree with Spoelstra that Miami loses in the details.

He needs to be surrounded by elite talent around him for the sake of his own career. I do not believe that will happen on the Heat. Would be in the best interest of both parties to move on IMO

If I wanted to win, Id get Ware some 4th quarter minutes. Every game from here on out.

Im okay with Rozier in his place for now though. Get those Ls for us Spo.

Looks like the whole team goes cold from deep. The Miami......Heat? More like the Miami Deep Freeze Eskimos.

Gonna focus on the Herro part of your post

His problem is that the team requires that he plays with the ball in his hands far more than he ought to

He is a supremely talented off ball shooter who can occasionally play on ball.

I probably sound like a broken record at this point but Herro, in general, ideally, should be limited to 3 dribbles or less per touch and the lesser the better.

His catch n shoot and 1 dribble stuff are elite.

But for him to be tasked with as much handling responsibilities as he has is a fundamental miscasting

Tbf, though, with Smith’s injury and the Rozier freak show, Spo doesn’t have better options to turn to.

New plan, take Ware out the starting lineup.
Play the full summer league champs together alternate with the starters.
Win win, Spo gets to continue losing with his stealth tank and small ball and the rest of the foolishness and we get to see hungry young guys actually trying to play.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Shouldn’t that make you want to get the right star or 2 next to him? I mean you’ve already seen what he’s capable of with Jimmy Spo and an average roster. Imagine 2 legitimate all stars forming a “big 3” with a good supporting cast. Might be too late considering we never wanted to go all in despite the deep runs. If championships aren’t our intentions any more hopefully he asks out because they aren’t trading him. He’ll be here until he’s old and expecting a legacy contract at that point we’ll run him out of town at 25% the value

I mean that’s also how Herro wants to play though, he thinks he’s on guys like Luka Trae Ja etc level and he wants to try and prove that. Hes a me first guy

Spo has to face the demon called alopecia and just shave it off. He’s gonna look like Tom Thibodeau in a couple years.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?
