Can I remind everyone to stop calling out other posters and be respectful with your dialogue. Philosophical disagreements are fine, I really don't want to have to police this place and give warnings/time off etc. We're all grown adults who, in theory, should know what's acceptable and what isn't.
Basically, stop phucking around and just talk Heat basketball normally. Thanks.

Dame, herro, and derozan at the 1, 2, and 3. This is what pat is envisioning.
I mentioned earlier about a derozan for wiggins swap with Wiggins rerouted to a contender. It might happen.

DeRozen doesn't work. It's the same problem we had with Jimmy and two bigs, just a less impactful version of Jimmy.
I'd truly prefer to try and find a decent deal that gets us off Wiggins and Terry and allows Jaime/Pelle/Jovic to battle it out for the 3 minutes.

Re: 2025 Offseason Thread Vol.4
I will say I think people are underselling Bam's growth as a shooter when it comes to spacing though.
Post-All Star (27 games)
20.6ppg / 8.7rpg / 4.0apg / 0.5bpg / 1.3spg / 1.7tpg / 34.8mpg
50.8%FG (7.8/15.3), 44.8% 3FG (1.4/3.2) and 82.2% FT (3.6/4.4)
If Bam's growth as a shooter is as legit as it seems, it could continue to be a bigger and bigger part of his offensive arsenal going forward.

Id like to see Miami roll with what theyve got unless they want to take a chance on a young wing.

Same. Jaime looked like he was on a strong trajectory his rookie year, but was lost in a sophomore slump. He struggled badly, and I don't think we did him many favours in the way we were playing him.
Perhaps with a clearly defined role and opportunity set, we see the best of him again.

PG: Mitchell - Jakučionis - Smith
SG: Herro - Larsson - Rozier
SF: Wiggins - Jaquez - Highsmith
PF: Adebayo - Jovic - Johnson - Fontecchio
Ce: Ware - Anderson - Love
Heat is in desperate need to add shooting to this roster. There are only two shooters on this team. Other than Kuminga, the next trade must be for a shooter. Monk, Lillard, Olynyk

S&T for Kuminga.
Let him run the show all year.
Draft Darryn Peterson.

Nah with how impactful he was for us, and who we have on our team now that isnt an overpay. I definitely wouldn't have wanted to have him test the waters first before we signed him, especially at the time.

Dawg I'll be honest with you. I was one of the biggest fans in getting Dame here but I'm not sure if he'll bounce back from that injury at this age.
Yea he might be cooked, for the minimum tho? Fuxk it, we’ve got nothing to lose

Getting Kelly Olynyk should be an easy move to make and great addition. He fits a need in every facet

Damn man...NBA could have a serious problem on their hands with this gambling ****. Its starting to be where every season, a new player is indicted.
