Does BYC hinder this trade?
Ayton has a $16 mil QO, Bridges is at $21 mil, Cam at $6 mil. That's Durants salary right there.
If Ayton is signed and traded for a higher number isn't his trade value his QO?
It’s been confirmed that BYC factors into this deal. I defer to those that want to run the numbers on what that would mean. I’m sure it depends on what offer Ayton gets on the market
Yeah it does.
Here's the explanation:Let’s say the Suns want to sign-and-trade Deandre Ayton this offseason. He’s a Bird free agent, his new salary will be well above the minimum, and the Suns project to be an over-the-cap team. Having made $12,632,950 in 2018/19, Ayton figures to receive a raise significantly higher than 20% — if he signs a maximum salary contract, it’s projected to start at $30,500,000. So he meets the BYC criteria.
In a scenario where he signs a max deal as part of a sign-and-trade, Ayton’s salary for matching purposes from the Suns’ perspective would be $15,250,000, which is 50% of his new salary (that amount is greater than his previous salary). From his new team’s perspective, Ayton’s incoming figure would be his actual salary, $30,500,000
With that, the numbers I quoted should make it a fairly even trade with those players and picks.

Tyler Herro is a bonafide 20ppg scorer on a contender at the age of 22. We don't know his ceiling, but it wouldn't surprise me to see a 25 year old Tyler Herro averaging 25, 5, and 5 on 45/40/90 shooting splits.

His ceiling is what it always was, Devin Booker with a better 3

I think Tyler can develop braids with another full offseason. He’s shown potential.

That's bullish![]()
I still think his ceiling is CJ McCollum.

Just a reminder that Herro is a big asset. We shouldn't short change what a great year he had, yes he has his flaws but he's a sick player. Wtv we do we should not over pay.
