We can't win without a big offensive showing from Bam. I continue to say the same thing I always say which is for him to be super aggressive and go up strong as much as possible. I can live with the results. Learning some post moves would be a plus. We've seen flashes of him doing good post moves successfully. Just need to see more of it.

We better figure out some way to score more points because I don't think we're holding Boston under 110 for 4 out of 7 games.

I'm still having a difficult time processing this entire postseason. Like, what? We got into the playoffs by the skin of our teeth, yet it feels like every other franchise is on fire. I don't know if it's plot armor, but I'ma enjoy it while we still got it.

With my tin foil hat on, I guess there are 3 or so potential narratives:
- Lakers win bubble rematch and prove no asterisks (Could mean Heat favourable whistle to the final, but then uphill battle).
- Boston - Lakers Final (Guess it doesn't matter who wins, though most media would prefer the 'Does James 5x titles make him GOAT' line)
- Denver vs anyone Final (Nikola Jokic vindication. In which case we would be the best team to throw in there to increase the odds of it).

Not sure there is a legit narrative for us, of course we like the revenge tour and the 'first 8 seed champion' would be the best underdog season ever.

If you look at that, Lakers in the Final is a narrative that can suit two purposes. Any Denver narrative feels a bit meh. Ref wise I don't feel like a favourable whistle in any circumstance realistically.

We get gm6 Bam on a consistent basis we possibly not only take out the ECF but may well win the NBA finals.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

I doubted them in Round 1. I doubted them in Round 2. Now, I'm not sure if I continue to doubt to continue the good luck or if I just shut up LOL

Go Heat! Never give up!

Do you guys think that we cruised during the regular season? If so, the League needs to look at this and plan around it, so there is more value for a team to go after the #1 during the regular season. 2 clear examples this year, the Heat and the Lakers.

I'm not complaining. LOL

IMO We did not cruise. There is a reason why we have the most close games this season. Every game feels winnable but we always fall short, I can't exactly count but we have at least 20 games that were winnable and we just ran out of gas.

So if convert that to wins, we probably are sitting around the 3rd seed or 4th seed.

On the Herro situation, Ethan Skolnick on his latest podcast said that he asked a member on the Heat and they told him not to "expect Herro vs Boston" even though he is ahead of schedule.

Chris Quinn interviewing for the head coach job in Milwaukee. Doubt he beats Nurse, Monty or possibly Rivers for the job.

But he will get a job someday.

We weren't cruising. We just got hot in round 1 vs the Bucks. This 2nd round was a more accurate reflection of who we are. We were competing with the Knicks and Nets for the 5/6/7 seeds for most of the season, so it's no surprise that we were able to get the best of them. Absent our shooters going crazy again, I have strong doubts that we beat the Celtics. Honestly I think we're the worst team left (barring more injuries) and it's not really close. We just have to scratch and claw and hold on, and hope that the basketball gods favor us.

I'd have Heat with 35 % of winning. To win I think Heat would need 2 things. One Butler to best player in series. If its a tie with Tatum, Heat loose. I think there's a good chance this happens.
And second this, its an either or. Either Heat shoot like they did in Bucks series or Bam is the 3rd best player in the series on offense + Heat role players make timely 3s. This is the biggest question, the shooting is probably unsustainable. We would need Bam to have a great offensive series.

I think and hope all this time off will have butler in his best shape since Game 1 against the knicks before hart swept his leg. If he can even get to 90%.. we got a chance to win some games against boston.

Bam and Lowry and other have some injuries too
