Edit- I'll give you some credit, at least this is the playoffs lol :D . I'm just not a winning cures all person just like I'm not a losing means heap the blame on person.

Edit #2- Especially winning a series we were supposed to win.

This comment takes the biscuit.

1) I'm not sure we were supposed to win against the Celtics
2) even if we were favoured by 55/45 or something that doesn't make it so - look at Orlando, Lakers, Spurs this playoffs.
3) We are supposed (as in favoured) to win the next 3 or 4 championships - does that mean you will never be happy with the coach/players because we were supposed to. Get off your ivory tower, join in the celebration and give the coach some credit.

1. We were supposed to beat the Celtics. Didn't you post in the thread that you thought we were going to win in 5? It seems you thought we were going to win pretty easily too then. How can you now say we weren't supposed to beat them when you predicted an easy series win?

2. We are about 55/45 against the Bulls, you can get the Bulls at almost 2-1 which is a pretty good bet to be honest. I think we're more likely to win but if I wasn't a Heat fan I'd take the underdog at those odds.

3. I don't know why you think I'm never happy with the team. I just don't want to throw a parade after every win like you do. And then complain if someone else does the equivalent after any loss. We are supposed to win way more games than we lose so I don't treat each one like some holiday.

I don't think winning the 2nd round requires celebrating. I was at the game and was screaming my ass off when we won but then the next day I was thinking about the next series. I'm not gonna throw a 2nd round party and pour champagne on people, sorry.

And once again I have given Spo plenty of credit and defended him even in this thread. But winning the 2nd round isn't that big of a deal when you are the favorites to win it all. And this team would have done that with you as coach (assuming you had some good assistants and you listened to them).

I just think its just as stupid for you to bump this thread after random wins, just like I think its stupid when people bump this thread after random losses. Thats all, as I have stated a couple of times. This thread isn't my thread, and I don't care for it. Just pointing out your hypocrisy.

Pointing out flaws or mistakes doesn't mean you are not happy. We are talking about humans here and nobody would be "happy" with their coach, boss, subordinant, kid, parent, spouse, etc if having some criticisms from time to time meant they were not happy. Spo is going to get the Heat coach next year. He has done some good things.

But HIF do you think he handled the last minute of game 4 smartly?

The Boston series was not a Spo win...it was a win of a team that is not as old as the Celtics that not only are old but are injured...we should not have gotten through them with this piss poor coaching job...

I **** hope not.
That would mean one more year of Wade's, Lebron's and Bosh's prime wasted. One was already lost on this moron, please Riles, don't make it 2.

No need to fire Spoelstra over one game. Have a little more faith in your coach than that. He did get you to the easter conf finals with ease. The Bulls struggled with their first two series. It's not always the coaches fault. Tonight Lebron and Wade just didn't look like they were ready for the Bulls as a team, they looked like they only focused on Rose

Slowestra is an idiot however. He has always been. It takes him forever to figure things out, that is why Heat fans are worried.

They knew coming in it was all about rebounds, yet they didn't, and that has to fall on the coach.

Also small ball when no one to rebound... very smart lol.

A small percentage of this loss is in Spo (And I don't even like him). The blame falls on:

Image

BOTH of these guys.

I would bet money that we will not win the rebounding battle in a single game this series, and our bench guys aren't miraculously going to become good basketball players. If Wade and LeBron aren't at the top of their game, we have ZERO chance. We have 3 players and that's it. 3 guys.

1 showed up. If all 3 guys show up, we have a shot.

lol I think after Game 3 this was bumped.

it's comical that it's bumped after every loss

but damn he is a bonehead sometimes

please Pat Riley just give the man your playbook and tell him what to do

but yeah I don't expect Wade and LeBron to play like that next game

This games was clearly on coach sop. Coach spo adjustment was too play small basketball. The heat was getting killed on glass. The only adjustment I saw after getting killed on the glass was too play small ball. Coach spo has to be fired. Coach is terrible game day coach.

What do you think of coach Jackson and his golden boys getting swept in the second round? Worst coach ever?

We knew coming into the season that we didn't have a Center nor a PG. Joel has played waaaay above expectations but not even I think he's a good center. Things got so desperate that we even picked up Damps whom nobody wanted - and everybody looked at and could have taken. He became our starter because we are so bad at Center.

PG we had to bring in Bibby a far from perfect PG who if he's not hitting his open 3's isn't worth playing.

Spo has done incredibly well to get us to the Eastern finals with no C or PG. He realised how bad things were and tried to go with the athleticism of joel and Magloire (that in itself is an indictment of the Center position). I'm sure he'll give the bigs their shot and hope that they can roll back the years for a few games. but be honest guys We have holes at C and PG that need miracles to win it all.

Spo changed his line up, something I have been pissed that he hasn't done before. I am happy he tried it.

I think we should try to insert pitman though at some points obviously not to many minutes but I feel like he can grab some boards for us which is most important.

The Heat will go as far as Wade, Bron and Bosh can carry them. Spo. does not bring much to the table, imo, but the Heat can win despite Spo. because they have the two best players on the court every night.

When threads get to 100, they have to be locked. If you're lame enough, start a new Fire Spoelstra thread.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?
