Very good, off season but will we ge anybody else?

I could see us maybe getting a traditional Center for the veteran's minimum. Probably somebody on the caliber of Haddadi or maybe Darko if he gets amnestied. In shape, Darko is a good defender plus it'd be cool to bring more of the 2003 draft class aboard.

reminds me of 2006, when we had the first 3 picks of the 1992 draft on our team. shaq, alonzo and i forget who else it was? i think christian laettner?

I know that they are sending Justin Hamilton internationally, began looking at the Heat's Roster on wikipedia. It shows him as he had already signed with the team...

Pretty sure that was '05 because Laettner wasn't on the '06 team.

Darko is a great option, he has that championship experience

He seems like a guy who can finish around the basket, pretty mobile, can defend and rebound. Would he sign for the vet min?

It's not decided yet. I think Pat wants to see how he handles practice and then Summer League. PEACE.

Adelman buried him on the bench last year and word was that he was out of shape/didn't care. Minny will look to amnesty him if they're going to sign someone like Batum to a pretty big deal, I think we'd have a good shot at grabbing him because his issues last year would probably scare a ton of teams away. Need to get him into Miami Heat shape though.

Darko could be a very intersting option to close the roster.
He a big dude, legit 7"0, good defender and shot blocker. could be this year's version of Turiaf.

ChrisTomasson
Jarrel Hartfield, Rashard Lewis’ HS coach, doesn’t see playing for the minimum big obstacle in Heat getting Lewis. “He’s made a lot of money in his life,’’ Harfield said of Lewis, who recently was bought out of his New Orleans contract this season for $13.7 million. “He wants to win a championship.’’

ChrisTomasson
Rashard Lewis’ HS coach believes close relationship Lewis has with Ray Allen helps Miami get Lewis to Heat. Allen and Lewis were Seattle teammates from February 2003 through 2006-07 season. “They are very, very close,’’ said Jarrel Hartfield, Lewis’ coach at Houston’s Atlief Elsik High School.

Jarrel Hartfield: “I think that helps Miami (in getting Lewis). And Rashard’s mom and Ray Allen’s mom are very close. I would go up there (to Seattle when Allen and Lewis were teammates), and I would see that.’’

Yup I knew getting Ray Allen would help us in getting Rashard. This team is gonna be deep and I expect us to be the BEST OFFENSIVE team next year. We should be able to put up 100+ points easily.

I think both Allen and Lewis are now more confortable coming to Miami, on any given night, we just need one of them to get hot or make shots.

I love that we got Lewis, a big who can really stretch the floor. Hopefully he can grab some boards down there as well. Riley is doing work this off-season. Now either Hill/Bell/Jamison and maybe a center?
