Mo would never be on the floor for big shots. He'd be a middle of the game player.

Agree, shane and ray would both be on the floor before mo would.

Yes, but often even when Mario isn't going full-Wario our best units/closing units are PG-less. No way a defense-less Mo gets in there.

It just amazes me that rio still makes boneheaded plays.. Someone need to inform him that His training wheels are off.

Agreed, its becoming a bit exaggerated, he's not that bad, nothing like wario-mode

Aware we don't need him but looks like Ivan Johnson - defense and hustle guy is going to not be re-signed by the hawks. Sure to join a challenger I'd have thought.

I believe his shrinking under pressure is one reason we dont need him. We have some clutch guys in the backcourt who need pt. I dont see the point in even entertaining the need for him.

Williams has told friends in the league that if the offers don’t improve, he may opt for a one-year deal for a contending team like Miami, who has expressed interest. HoopsWorld

What are the chances Mo Will signs for the minimum? I'd gladly take him for that price.

Saw that...i just dont see how many minutes we can guarantee him? Maybe 20 min a night? He seems like a guy that would could cause some problems if he doesn't get enough minutes.

Last season
player-minutes

Rio-27
Cole-20
Wade-34
Ray-26

maybe you can cut back ray and wade by 5 minutes each. I don't see much time there.

I think you could easily cut a few minutes off Ray and Wade and a bunch off Cole too, unless his 3 point shot has improved. I think Mo would take a chance on a 1 year vet min with us just to up his value if nothing else.

I'm indifferent to it. If we sign him cool, but I don't think we need him.

Feel the same. I think he could help us, but there'd also be some drawbacks.

Regarding the minute allotment: You gotta figure he'd push Cole almost entirely out of it, save for Joel-esque defensive specialist minutes when needed.

I don't really want a vet to take cole's minutes. I liked what i saw from him towards the end of last season and in the playoffs, his 3pt shot improved and i would like to see him develop more.

That's what my biggest hang up is. Seems impossible to have a guard rotation of Chalmers, Wade, Cole, Williams, and Ray.
