Trade Butler and start the Bam and Herro era, PLEASE! Miami fans deserve it!

It's YOUR argument. So it can only be used on one player and no one else? You chose a random ass regular season game to speak about bad decision making in "big games" and someone can't use a ECF game 7?

My argument? Did Butler pull up from 30 feet? Was Butler shooting horribly that game?

We just have to accept it for what it is at this point. Herro will never do wrong in the eyes of the Herro Stans. Hopefully he’s traded for someone who can actually contribute when the playoffs come around.

Unfortunately it seems like Herro Stan’s are slowly latching on to their next guy in Jovic. I’m already seeing people on Twitter that didn’t want to include him for KD or Mitchell. I have no clue what the obsession is.

I don't care what a player shot before, that's the difference. If that thought enters his head, he belongs at the YMCA, not NBA. I don't actually care about Jimmy's shot because in the moment that's what he thought was the best shot. If you don't understand why Herro took the shot with a back peddling defense, a shot he's taken and made multiple times.....

im not comparing them or trying to defend herro, thats dumb. I just wanted to specify the horford part cause it blew my mind then and still does now.

Any chance that the guy who played all 48 minutes of that game would have rather tried to win the game with an open 3 vs a contested shot in the lane against a good defender to possibly take the game into overtime?

The smart move would be to take it to the basket vs a 36 year old back peddling big.If you don't score you get fouled. Thats my opinion of course. If you think a pull up 3 was the right choice more power to ya. Also even if he hits that three doesn't mean we win the game. Was plenty of time left.

Jimmy carried us to 2 wins, Bam carried us to 1. At some point in the 7 games we needed our highest usage and highest shot attempt player to at least step up and help. Now we have guys who want to max him when he hasn’t done anything in the playoffs since the 2020 ECF

HE WAS 5 FOR 23 THAT GAME. The announcers in that game had mentioned that Spoelstra had a meeting with Herro about his shot selection from the previous game in Golden State then he does that.

Wide open 3 from a guy on fire with 35 >>> heavily contested shot in the paint over a 6’10 great defender

We're really doing this team Herro, Team Butler stuff

This has been a season long thing from the Herro Stans that is just unbearable. I’m literally praying we trade this dude for KD or Mitchell because I can’t stand it anymore. This dude could go 0-30 and let his matchup score 40 in a game 7 we lose by 1 and they’d deflect all blame off Herro

We weren't even supposed to be in the position to win that game. Was a fluke. We deserved to lose who the hell starts off a game 7 at home the way we did? Was gross.

So what? Plenty of players have had bad shooting games then pull big shots outta their butt INCLUDING Herro. If a player is shooting 40% from 3 on the season why would he hesitate there?

He was deferring to the likes of Strus and Lowry in the playoffs, I had a bigger problem with that.

I haven't been active enough this year to notice that so I'm gonna step out of the crossfire of this one lol I'm open to trading Herro if the deal is right all I wanted to point out was that we're actually in a great position with him coming off the year he had. We can't forget he did get injured but I think we lost for a bunch of reasons. Lowry got injured too, Tuck was banged up and the coaching was suss.

The perks of everyone outside of Jimmy forgetting how to make a 3

Should’ve ended in 6 tbh. We were 0-23 on wide open 3s in game 5 at home in a game we barely lost

He's not a 3 point shooter he's a rhythm guy like Wade. I doubt that shot would of been heavily contested lol he's a guard would of blown by him, horford would of been forced to take the foul.

And that’s fine. The jury is out in Herro until next playoffs for me. Idc if he averages 25 next season, if we get to the playoffs and you can’t do the one thing your supposed to do and only average an inefficient 11 then the regular season means nothing

All our players are excellent and any team would be lucky to add them. It’s a tough pill to lose any of Lowry, Herro, Duncan, Yurt, etc.

Spoiler:
Let’s not lead value tanking narratives
