Spo has been willing to go to a 2-PG set and everybody's minutes will have to come down at any rate, for obvious reasons. Mo could easily get PT as Mike's minutes are gone and Haslem has to recover from his offseason ailments.

Well Mike didn't really have minutes. Someone was always forced out for him to play in the postseason (Cole, UD, Birdman). More 2-PG sets did cross my mind as a way to get Cole in there and keep Wade's minutes down, but it'd only work against other dual-PG lineups.

Haslem might find himself out of the rotation as it is.

Last season
player-minutes

Rio-27
Cole-20
Wade-34
Ray-26

maybe you can cut back ray and wade by 5 minutes each. I don't see much time there.

Mo - 28
Wade - 30
Ray - 20
Rio/Cole - 18

That's doable

I wouldn't mo williams play that many minutes. His d is pretty bad and I would not want to see ray and mo on the court at the same time.

Mo Williams will come here to gt 5-10 minutes, and get vet min.

If he wants more $$/time, he can go to a terrible team and score 20 PPG, while winning 20 games. It's that simple

It's ok I'd pass on Mo. Don't need him coming here distracting LeBron with (Please Use More Appropriate Word) bench dancing, handshakes, and posing. Need to have a 100% focused LeBron for another full season.

Bucks Waive Gustavo Ayon

Anyone know if he is a good defender/rebounder ?
Should we try to claim him ?

He's a solid rebounder, would take him over Varnado.

What happened to this guy? Was great in his rookie season for the Hornets I remember, then got traded in the Ryno deal and I don't think I heard of him again.

Can't believe that so many of you are against signing Mo Williams. He'd be a big upgrade for our second unit.

We really need to reduce Wade's regular season slog and even Bron's a little.

I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous. People only remember this stuff when it's attached to losing (despite those teams winning 60+ games). LeBron and co. did all that stuff last year, but no one criticized it because they dominated the league and LeBron had already been crowned a champion. Loose doesn't mean unfocused. This team was having pre-game impromptu dunk contests. LeBron was running out and tackle-hugging shooting contestants and grabbing/talking into SunSports microphones after hustling after loose balls in the fourth quarter of 1 point games. Mo Williams, nor any player for that matter, isn't going to come into this locker room and shift the collective personality or alter the culture.

They don't think anyone is better than Chalmers and Cole. It's like a twilight zone

chalmers and Cole are good because they are ours. Other fans hardly rate them. We love them but let's not forget they are far far from perfect.

Still some people were championing Pitt even in his last year here. Some said how we'd regret letting him go.

In winning the championship this year, both Cole and Chalmers had their moments (good/bad).

Can't forget all the negatives thrown at practically EVERY player on this team, not only game to game, but qtr to qtr

I would love a 3peat, and endorse anyone who can help.

Thing about Mo is that he is a PG that shoot's 3's, and that's great but that's not what we need right now. Rather have big bodies. He is too small to play SG too. Mo also always had more of a green light than our PG's, but his numbers aren't far from Mario's these days in a smaller role.

Regarding Mo and him being a distraction to LeBron. Uh... we did the Harlem Shake, and it as 40+ million views LMAO. Lebron, Wade and Bosh clowned around a LOT. LeBron doesn't even clown around on the side lines anymore, he has matured. He would rather relax than dance nowadays.

Better trade Bosh. Too many videobombs. You just can't have that on a championship team

With the amount of money we're able to offer free agents, vet's min or the mini MLE, we're not going to get a perfect player. Mo has flaws but the guy can flat out shoot the ball and that's a must on this team especially with Mike being gone. And if he signs just a one year vet min deal, the league pays part of his salary. Sounds like a good bargain to me.
