He’s 35 years old, and is no longer producing like a Max player. He doesn’t do anything with the team, travels by himself, and likes to “troll”. He had not accomplished anything before coming to Miami, and nearly won a title with the Heats guidance and support. Sorry we only surrounded him with the best role player in the NBA (Bam) an all star guard in Herro, a top 5 3pt shooter in Duncan along with vets like Dragic, Lowry, Love, and now Rozier.
I am pretty tired of the anti Heat narrative, I just want to see us get back to playing tough Heat basketball and it seems like Jimmy has drained the team of that. Guys don’t look engaged, and it doesn’t look fun.
The culture in Miami and the trust in the front office and coaching was our biggest asset, not sure who this guy thinks he is to act like he’s prime Kobe or MJ. He can find out the same way Shaq and Wade did in my opinion.
When I recently heard the Heat were allowing Jimmy to do things that never allowed LeBron to do that was enough for me. It’s time for him to go and return the standard to the organization. If you’re going to be selfish and full of drama you better be unbelievable, and the facts are he just isn’t anymore.
We got a guy who’s going all out for this team in Herro right now, and playing some great ball. Herro has been through countless trade rumors and been the subject of a lot of criticism and never once has he wavered on his commitment to the Heat. That’s a guy I’d be willing to give the opportunity to lead to the remained of this season and the next. At least we know he gives a damn, and will show up if he can and play his guts out for the logo. Time to get back to that being the thing that matters here.

Bam can go in the offseason too
Get a Gobert haul from a team like Hou, SA or OKC
I suppose they can try and build around Herro which won’t likely go anywhere and eventually result in getting a mini Mitchell haul for him

Would love to see OKC or SA. Add the best defender in the world who can also get you 20 a night when involved in the offense to the best defense in OKC and they’ll run the league for the next 5-10 years easily. Put the 2 best defenders in the league on the Spurs and likely add Fox to that, they’ll run the league too.
Would give me something to watch while my Heat are in absolute purgatory

its time to rebuild, this team as is is a play in team. which is a disgrace for this once proud franchise
I have always felt like the org scrabbled enough talent for Spo to never dip to far below 500 for long. I think they have always protected him, so he would be part of the attraction to play for the Heat.
I am not anti-spo....but dude....I am so over small ball. At least the version rolled out in recent seasons. It only seems to work when you get the right "4". Don't have that and you are not outshooting, or out hustling teams. You don't play the other teams 5 off the court....you end up murdered on the boards with dumb spacing, with the other team somehow jacking up a billion uncontested 3s.
We have seen multiple teams win with centers that most fans would not even remember their names. I am so ready for Bam to live at the 4, and have a revolving door at the 5 if we cant find the one we want.

Herro not due for an extension for 3 years. The career year is not about money. He's making a leap. And he's 24 turning 25. He still has room to go. Big question is can he be this consistently good by the end of the season and in the playoffs. And next season can he make the leap into All NBA level player, where Booker, Mitchell and Trae are. If he can get to All nba level then he's untradeable. He's not there yet

If Bam goes to any team that has any functional PF and PG they are probably going to the finals. UD literally went on national TV and stated a great case why Bam needs a big next to him but the front office told him to shut up and doubled down on playing more 6’5 guys next to him. Now it’s been Larrson’s turn to play the 4 spot lol a college career two guard. Yes i’m making an excuse for Bam cause this chit really starts to weigh on a player. Bam is a good soldier and won’t say chit but it’s clear as day the FO has failed miserably.

I really hope so before the 50 mil a year kicks in. And it looks like the FO has no plan to let Bam play to his natural position.
Just want my Heat to go back to a traditional center big and hope Ware can evolve to that. But at least Ware won't be a max player for the next few seasons.

The front office and coaching staff have drained Bam imo. It’s always more more more we have enough. 6’5 guards at PF is now Heat culture. Suck it up lol

Did the front office give Spo a directive to not give Ware time on the floor with Bam? Or to not try Bam with Hassan back when he was a rookie? It feels like we keep searching for a boogeyman when the reality is even when given an option Spo has proven he will defer to playing small unless the big fits his prototype of a floor spacer/screener. Idk, maybe just maybe the guy who decides who will play needs to try something different.

We get the best out of the players we acquire more often than not.
Lebron got his 1st chip here. Jimmy makes the Finals twice for us.
We make good players better.
I wish we would sacrifice our egos and go all in and spend two years in the high lotto. It would expedite all our success.

You could be spot on; that could be the reason for his performance this season. Having to cover multiple players who are defensively weak can really take a toll. The Heat should take a hard look at themselves in the coming seasons. If Ware shows promise in the future, they should do Bam a favor by trading him for assets and letting him play for a contending team.
