I think we all said the same thing, last season was the time to beat us. There's no way the bench could get worse than the 10/11 season, just due to the MLE alone. I thought we'd be upgrading a player at a time, but this summer is shaping up to be great. PEACE.

Is Harris under contract? Can we drop him for Grant Hill?

Time to sign a center. It will be last piece to the puzzle. :)

Bucks are interested in Ian Mahinimi. If they get him then I have no doubt that they trade one of: Dally, Udoh, Sanders, or Gooden

He was an unrestricted FA but we did not give him a qualifying offer. I think we can pick him up whenever though

I said it right after the Bucks-Rockets deal - Dalembert is likely to shake loose. if the price is right id take him, he's a great rebounder. i'd hate to give up Cole though.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Chris Tomasson
The next Heat target in free agency could be point guard John Lucas III. His agent, Bernie Lee, said he will talk to Heat president Pat Riley when the two are both soon in Las Vegas. "We’ve agreed that we’re going to talk at the summer league in Las Vegas,’’ Lee said. “You definitely listen if it’s Miami.’’ Yes, that would be the same John Lucas III who LeBron James hurdled for a dunk in a January game and clobbered while setting a pick in an April game.

IDC how terrible or bust/washed up they are, I'd rather take a defense-first big man in Kwame or Pryz over JLIII. Maybe we can get lucky and sneak on Jamison (although Charlotte is his #1 option), or Ian Manhimi.

Of course Pat Riley thinks of all. Sources say Heat eyeing possible options if Mike Miller too hurt to play & get $2.9 mil injury exception

I'm not sure about Dally being traded. At least not right now. You have to remember they traded down to get him and dumped a couple of expirings. But we should keep our eye on the bucks when the trade deadline is nearing. By that time, the big man they don't need will be sitting on the bench wanting playing time. When you have Sova, Henson, Udoh, Sanders, and Luc Richard all playing similar positions, the guy sitting on the bench could be Dally.

Wow that's really strange. at this point this can only mean 1 thing - Riley is thiking about trading Cole for a Center.

Wow! The GB on this forum is hilarious. Is it now wrong to improve as a team?

so since all the positions are a lock, from now on can someone post a small list of the remaining C's realistically affordable with a potential 2.9m injury exception?

^ thnx.. highly unrealistic but it would be unreal to get an athletic center like Mahimni. We'd be more than set with with someone in the mold of J. Collins, Pryzbilla though.

Not sure why we're still being associated with JL3.

I still think we some how get Ronny back, and then we can call it an off season.

Return to Miami Heat
