Those mad at the moves, what moves would you have preferred?

Personally, I know we are invested in Jimmy being our leader and all, but given the three headed monster in Brooklyn and the Bucks having the modern second coming of Shaq I would have preferred to built more towards a Bam and Herro time line. Focusing on acquiring younger players on decent contracts that aren't outlandish. Lonzo might have been a bit rich for this strategy, but like the deal Devonte Graham got would have been good. And that gives much more flexibility to fill out the roster. Right now it feels we are trying to force our way into the championship conversation with a smaller caliber gun than the other front running teams right now talent wise.

Im telling you guys Zoran needs to be looked at by a NBA team.. he played awesome today.. around the rim and behind the arc.. played like his big brother.. 32 years old… i say hes more qualified for the MLE as anyone left in free agency

Let's imagine we find a team who likes Nunn and they are willing to have him for a decent salary. Herro is making what, $6mil?

Combine them both.

We can include both in a S&T for Derozan somehow?

He was really solid last year. Low money, low commitment - he can play his role as a legit big who can finish, block shots and board.

Dude averaged 7/5 in 13 mins on 70% from the floor in his 16 games with us.

Will we have his bird rights next year?

Yeah i’m putting Herro in play right now in one of these S&T deals.

It would take a lot of pride swallowing on all sides, but for cheap to run the bench alongside dedmon if we grabbed Whiteside having him on our roster would be a good contingency for some bigger teams. Especially in a seven game series if we are getting bullied on the boards. He can still produce at a high enough level to have value for us, but his attitude may keep his cost low enough for us to grab him on veterans min.
