Which is how we should approach it. This is certainly the largest period of prosperity we've had, but it's not the only one. LeBron has been great and absolutely the biggest part of the run, but this organization had relevance and pushed for titles before him and it will do so after him... which, admittedly, I hope isn't for a while longer, but the point stands.

Show him the plan and go to business, whichever way that goes.

I don't think anybody can deny the utter insanity of Spos over aggressive system and the effects it has had on the accelerated decline of Wade and Birdman to an extent as well as wearing down Lebron. Not even going to mention what he's done to Bosh

Can we stop with the "every needs to chill " posts. It's a win win situation for Miami. we get the best player in the world back or we have room to retool and maybe even sign and trade bosh for some pieces from Houston. Heat are coming out smelling like roses in this.

It all depends on how much Wade is willing to give up. For Melo Lebron won't ask for the max. Bosh will also need to take a pay cut. It's all possible but this comes down to how much Wade is willing to sacrifice. Also remember the pay cut would be just for two years then with the new TV deal they can all get Max contracts.

ok, thats pushing it. Yes we're fine if lebron leaves. We got Pat riley, we will be fine. But lets not call it a win if Lebron leaves, i dont think any team "wins" when the best player in the world leaves. And the FA market this year kinda blows.
