The biggest tell with this team is that we’re now 2-8 in our last 10 games. We ran out of gas weeks ago. The last bit of fight we had we squeezed out to win that Celtics series.

2 and 6. Lost 3 of the last 4 in the ECF, lost 3 of 4 of the finals. It should have been a sweep in the finals.

Almost seems like those of us begging the FO to make a move or 2 because we clearly needed it to put us over the top we’re right all along?!?!

But w/ the roster we do have, we got there. I think youre both right. We need maybe a person or two to put us over. Also, I wouldnt be mad if we were the same core either.

The FO Stans we’re running victory laps early after we made the finals like the goal is to just make it there lmao we need to win it!

Maybe Dipo's defense on Murray would have helped greatly, would have allowed Butler to roam more. Butler... one of the top players in steals has 1 in the Finals after 4 games.

I don't believe in moral victories. 2 trips to the Finals and get steamrolled against bigger teams (we won 2 games off Jimmy being Superman against LA). The team needs a complete makeover. We refused to get bigger and once again it cost us. These dudes have to put in 100% effort every night because they lack so much talent and size, and they always run out of gas eventually when no matter what they do, the other just does the other things easier. When are we going to learn?

If only we'd played Zeller and Jokic more. If only we were bigger. Like all those teams watching us on TV.

Lakers and now Denver are bigger. When it matters most, we couldn't pull through. Being small requires tons of energy to overcome size and, like the Lakers, we ran out gas again against the Nuggets. Oh well. I'm not mad at our guys, but we need to improve. But trying to succeed doing the same things that's led to failure over and over is insanity.

Of course, they are far more talented but this isn't the same Heat team from a few weeks ago. They've looked like they've been in the mud since the Boston series. They are exhausted. As Grumpy Heat fan said, it's a superstar league and we don't have enough. With that said, Denver didn't win with just sheer talent. We looked like children against the Lakers and Nuggets on the boards. Denver got everything they wanted because we nothing to stop their bigs. I don't mean just Jokic. He's the best but Gordon look like an elite player. We had no answer when Denver can just get simple 2s from backing guys down.

its not the team really, its how great Jokic is playing. he is feeding everyone with incredible passing and answering our runs with big shots. they feed off of him. his passing skills is like, miles ahead of bam

dude there's no comparison. i tell you what. trade bam to another team and see if he can succeed there. right now i view him just a tad better than bustice winslow. the guy cant even dunk right most of the times. i would trade his azz for this alone

We knew Jokic was going to be the best player in this series.

We needed Jimmy and Bam to be the second and third best (in any order) for the Heat to win this series. They haven't done it so far.

The pressure is clearly on the FO to bring the right personnel. The Heat are in a good position next off season if they are able to bring in Lillard.
Bam, Butler and Lillard are a hell of a team.

The takes that is a bad playoff team are not based on facts. You don't get to 3 ECF and 2 finals by being a bad team. How many so called elite teams have gotten that far in past 4 seasons. It's a really good playoff team. Not winning ultimately doesn't make them bad, it just means they need something more to get over the hump

I just think the way the roster is constructed, Bam is too high on the totem pole. He needs to be our 3rd best player.

We might need a 1 tbh. It was always going to be an uphill battle in the playoffs with the way the 1 and "2" option on this team score (or don't score for that matter lol), we talked about this in the regular season with them being non-shooters. We needed super saiyan Jimmy and/or role players playing above their averages to win. For much of the postseason we were able to bank on at least one of those, but now we're getting average Jimmy and role players below their averages.

I find it funny people are calling Jimmy overrated when a lot of these so called superstars and ALL-NBA players haven’t even whiffed a conference final let alone a finals. It’s hilarious
