Do we have enough for a min contract to fill the 15th spot?

I really hate going into the season with that PG depth.

So how many roster spots left and how much money is left to spend? Are we looking at another 13-14 man roster again?

C Bam C Ware C Bryant C/PF Love
PF Jovic PF Highsmith PF Keshad Johnson(2 way)
SF Butler SF Jaquez SF/SG Larsson
SG Herro SG Robinson SG Burks SG J Rich
PG Rozier PG Pullin (2 way)

Rehab PG Dru Smith(2 way)

SF Cole Swider(Signs QO and takes two way from Smith?) or trade happens and signs 2.1

Consolidation trade for a PG looks like a must right now.

Done signing players. Have about a million and change below the apron. Maybe after trade deadline have enough for a prorated deal to convert a two way. 15th spot is open

It’s disappointing that we keep having to roll with 14 because we do not do the numbers right. I read Tyler’s unlikely bonuses is the main problem, which count against the apron (this rule came after it was signed).

Like we should never be rolling with 14. It’s malpractice. It beats the second apron, but it’s a waste of a development spot or a vet min. And it’s over like a million dollars.

I do like HH returning. He has developed into a really useful player who can guard multiple positions.

Legitimately was the most clutch 3 pt shooter on the team last year. I'll take Highsmith for $5M for every year that we can get him

Barf

Jagsmith, Love, and Bryant all should've been let go. I'd rather give those minutes to the youth, it's not like we're winning anything next season anyway. $12 million this season for 3 nothing players that wouldn't crack the rotation on any playoff team except ours.

The Godfather is working vigorously to upgrade the roster if not this summer then by the trade deadline. And if not by the trade deadline, then next summer. And if not next summer then by the following trade deadline. And if not . . . repeating ad infinitum . . . .

If a sizable trade is made, cuts some salary and Miami brings in another solid player with the Tax MLE it will be very good moves by the FO well, unless they're not making any moves.

They will make a move if The Godfather determines it is necessary. If they do not make a move, it is because The Godfather determined no move is needed. Either way, whatever The Godfather decides will be the correct and most glorious outcome.
