For the record, I'm probably more partial for rolling the dice on Porzingis then most. I'd prefer Simmons, but his value would appear higher and I don't think they'd trade him here.

Nunn / Oladipo
Robinson / Herro
Butler / Ariza / Strus
Adebayo / Okpala
Porzingis / Dedmon

I'd prefer to S&T Nunn for a PG that fits what we need a bit better, but I could roll with that until Dipo gets healthy.

Hopefully Okpala can come back with a semblance of a jump shot, and Spo trusts Dedmon to let it fly from 3 more next year.

This would presume a Dragic, Igoudala and Achiuwa trade is sufficient for KP.

Would be kinda lol if we traded for Simmons, then KAT became available and we traded Bam for him. Jimmy playing with all the guys he shat on

Simmons
Robinson
Butler
3&D PF
Towns

Would be something though.

Porzingis very intriguing for that proposed price. Probably doesn’t happen though cause Mark Cuban is a real A hole when it comes to dealing with us. I’ll never forget that bastard forced us to overpay for Whiteside. He also tried to hijack our Jimmy Butler original deal.

He did just throw KP under the bus though:

https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/mark-cuban-says-the-mavericks-need-a-second-scorer-kp-is-who-he-is/

Said the Mavs need a 2nd option and KP "is who he is". Sure sounds like he gawn, and getting Gogi might help placate a disenfranchised Luka.

I think KP is a better player than he showed in the playoffs. I think he can work here.

Pie in the sky stuff. Not gonna happen.

Trust me, I don't think anyone wants Kawhi here more than me, but it ain't happening. Maaaaybe if the Clips flamed out in round 1 - not now that they made the WCF.

Ultimate success this offseason is walking away with a Dame/Jimmy/Bam big-3.

I can’t see it as a reality, and would be happy if we trade Bam for Dame, then use Iggy to get Adams & Dragic to get a PF.

Agree - Kawheezee is not moving. Though things look tense in the background of Clipperville.

Hypothetically what if we did this?

4 team trade
Miami, Houston, OKC and Portland

Miami gets - Lillard and Gordon
OKC gets - Precious, KZ Okpala and maybe our 2022 2nd rounder.
Houston get - Herro
Portland gets - Dragic, Iggy, #23 and #24 of the 2021 draft and 3 future FRPs and up to 4 pick swaps

Feel like that's pretty close to the package OKC got for Paul George after he signed his extension.

Miami would get Lillard, Butler, Bam and Robinson for the next 4yrs and also add Gordon for 3yrs and possibly retain guys like Ariza and Oladipo for cheap.

This would be assuming Dame chose Miami similar to how Paul George chose the LAC's.

If we did this half this forum would need a new keyboard!

Yea that more like us those days lol.
BUT I think Kawhi is leaving LA. Even that they reached the WCF.

I think most fans assume (probably correctly) that we would get outbid for him.

All those picks and pick swaps that Portland is getting ... who is supplying them?

And I would add; what is OKC's motivation to do this? Are we assuming they value KZ and Precious more than the picks?

In this scenario we'd get our 2023 back from OKC allowing us trade our picks again and we'd send 3FRPs and whatever pick swaps and Houston would send the #23 and #24 to them for Herro.

Admittedly its going to be a tall task to get OKC to play ball but I have faith Riley would be able to do what it takes to get it done.
