Monk would be a great pickup at the minimum/whatever we have left. I’d try to grab him as a back up 2/microwave scorer type off the bench which would free Herro up to be moved for a front court upgrade.

Led the NBA in rebounds per minute last year.

Imagine the fun he's gonna have with a group of guys his age.

In all seriousness, UD was kept for his vet presence. We dont need that now

Lowry

Tucker

Would I prefer a slightly bigger lineup? Yes. But all things being considered, it’s tough defensively and has plenty of spacing around our guys.

That’s a terrible starting 5. Undersized Center undersized PF, liability on D in Duncan

I don't think that is possible anymore for at least good portion of the season. Aren't there rules about trading a player after he signed a deal unless a sign and trade was or is in place?

Feels like if we deal Herro, bringing back Nunn or getting Monk has more importance.

Iggy and Nunn not signing, DeRozan not signing…something else is in the works. It has to be.

Heat get - Marvin Bagley
Kings get - Tyler Herro, Kevon Looney
Warriors get - Andre Iguodala (S&T)

I’d love that but why would the Kings trade a starter for nothing?

given the costs of those players this season and potential upsides, I personally would rather we keep Herro and allow him to continue to grow. That said if the right young big were available for trade then I am less averse to that route. But for you folks who moves the needle on a herro trade that doesn't include Nunn to match a higher salary?... Far out thought but if someone like Wiseman were available for Herro and a pick then my interest would be piqued. But I hesitate to give up an asset that we can control for a while unless we receive a young asset in return with a similar contract situation.

Bagley is on an expiring deal and asked to leave. They've signed multiple big men today. Herro would be a good shooting fit next to kentucky compadre Fox

Fox
Herro
Haliburton
Barnes
Holmes

could be a solid offensive team for stretches. Herro would prob be 6 man. Him and Davion Mitchell off the bench is great.

Bagley sucks brehs, just say no

I'd fiddle with Buddy Love for Herro tho', but I don't think the funds are there for that

So with Tucker's contract being 2yr 15mil with a 5% raise in year two means he's taking 7.3mil of the 9.8mil MLE leaving us with 2.5mil of the MLE and the 3.8mil BAE left to offer players outside of Vet min deals.
