I am going to go with something crazier, we will draft Bronny after colluding with lebron in the offseason, and then we will sign lebron to play with his son in a Miami Heat uniform :crazy:

Christopher has 1st round pedigree and got lost in the shuffle on some young bad Rockets teams. Also fell into a roster crunch with Utah. He’s a great gamble. Has bulk size for a 2 guard at 215

Agreed. He can get buckets. He wasn’t even that bad for Houston as a rook, just got lost.

Wonder where Killian Hayes lands. Is he a symptom of Detroit being awful, or is he Euro Fultz?

At this stage in the game, 35yr old Gallo < 20yr old Niko. Just play Jovic and let him learn.

The pieces just don't fit sadly

The pieces fit for their current build of this roster. They could have gone out and added a real PF if they wanted to, I expect they could have expanded the Rozier trade and gotten PJ Washington if they really wanted him.

I agree that they could have expanded the trade if they wanted to, but I can't entirely agree with the fit. We tend to play well when Jimmy is out. When Jimmy is in, everyone gives him the ball and starts watching. And he's methodical in his approach, which slows everything down. When he's out everyone is just off to the races, the pace gets pushed, and bodies are more active.

Don't get me wrong, I am not in any way delusional. Playoff Jimmy IS our best player. Spo just needs to figure out a way to get everyone to play as they do now when Jimmy is in, and instead of trying to feed Jimmy, you let him freelance around the O and D. He will do Jimmy things.

But then we also run into the issue Greg pointed out. The reason this current line up is working is because Caleb is out there as the POAD which is not suited for Jimmy's game. And that's why I say the pieces do not fit correctly.
