I like Herro having to go up against Bradley every day in practice.

Makes him better.

Is there possibly still a trade to go down? Nunn/KO/Iggy for ____?

for LMA, I wish

Crowder wasn't even the main piece in the Iggy trade that got him here. The fact that he had an amazing run that helped us, I couldn't hate the guy for leaving. Props on securing the bag bro. Have fun in Phoenix. That team will be interesting. Not sure if Harkless can fill the void Jae left since he's inconsistent, but we have to understand the math shiz in all these FA moves. I don't mind everything so far except the Meyers deal. And even that ain't that bad since it's basically a future trade chip/trade filler for a whale.

And I just woke up to the Bradley add. Niceeeee. I wanted a big, but that was a good signing.

So I guess the Ibaka ship has sailed. Just waiting on a possible trade anytime now until the deadline involving any of Nunn/Iggy/KO if something pops up. The depth chart still doesn't look like the final form, still some overlapping iMO

‘Heat lifer’ ain’t gonna pay your bills in retirement. You gotta do what you gotta do.

These cats get paid more than any of us ave joes get in 10 lifetimes. You don't need 3 houses, 10 cars & 50 watches. We talking about a Championship, something that we're very close to attaining....and you jump ship.....str8 after reaching the finals & lost the way we did? Some people cut from a diff cloth.

Players have the right to pursue long term security, nothing wrong with Crowder taking the multi year deal. Personally I don’t get the romanticization of this guy, fans pulled the same crap with McGruder. He’s just a guy. Avery Bradley is going to make us quickly forget about Crowder.

Read on Twitter

Absolutely...that decision can also be criticized. I don't feel sorry for these million-dollar paid athletes. They always have more than they need. Millions is easy to attain....most don't have titles.

Pleased Riles was able to acquire Avery.

Yeah, these guys have 3 houses and 10 cars, and that’s the life they have become accustomed to. It’s their ‘norm’. Of course it’s not necessary, but it’s the life they live.

I have no problems with players securing more money through longer contracts, especially during these uncertain times.

Jae was a mid season acquisition and we were an inch away from dealing him to OkC in exchange for Gallinari, before Danilo ‘declined’. He never owed us anything lol.

Not every dude that plays hard nosed defence and can make a corner three should be expected to play out his career in Miami.

All of us chase higher salaries at our jobs. Somehow it’s only a problem when professional athletes do it..

I don't get it either. If fans want to go after anyone it should be the owners. The whole cap and restrictions is just some dumb rules owners came up to guarantee themselves profit when players are the actual product. So why should players take a paycut when they are generating revenue. I doesn't make sense when we are free market on everything else except sports. Players should be able to sign contracts with anyone and teams should be able to pay anyone who unsigned whatever amount they agree to without restrictions.
It's not like the owners do anything. In fact some are using tax payer money to fund their stadiums. And are getting tax breaks for their teams. And if we actually look closely some are shady. So as far as I care, players go make your money first and worry about winning later. Most of them come from poor or middle class families and have this short window to maximize their earnings so they families can be set for life. I don't know anyone would hate on that especially when they are doing it the right way.

If someone offered me $1 million more ... I'd take it. If I was already rich and "didn't need it", I'd take it anyway. I'd take it and give it to my family. And if they were already rich, I'd take it and give it to my friends. And if they were already rich, I'd take it and give it to the needy.

That's the cloth.

Billionaire owners put rules in place to limit their spending to guarantee that they get richer and richer ... but fans expect players to leave money on the table because "they don't need it". The day I don't need more money will be the day I can still use more.

it's another convo altogether. but as stated earlier don't feel sry for million dollar paid athletes. They comprise just 1-2% of society. all though it's what they're accustomed to, 99% of the rest of us live regular lives who don't have the luxury to complain about the things they can afford to.

No i nvr said he owes us anything. Nor do i really want him here anyway. We move on to bigger & better things. Miami will reward our loyal players after we get that title. They'll both be champions & have the finances.

Gallo & Ibaka were the 2 i preferred we wld acquire addressing our 2 main issues.

Wether Serge ends up on Nets or not we know by the way things are panning out if we were to acquire another player it will be one we never expected. Ibaka off the list...

Resigning Leonard makes sense, we need a stretch-5 next to Achiuwa.
