- Miami signs Chris Paul (or other FA guard of interest) to open roster spot

Mitchell - Paul - Kasparas
Herro - Larsson - Kasparas
LeBron - Highsmith/Fontecchio
Bam - Jovic - Anderson
Ware - Bam - Love

Miami is a competitive team while having a pseudo farewell season for LeBron. Bam and Ware get pumped up value playing with the best playmaker either has ever shared the court with. Miami makes the playoffs with potential to make some noise in a weak East.

LeBron retires. Luka struggles on a sh*t squad in LA and didn't sign extension in August. Luka enters Free Agency and Miami has a max slot vacated by LeBron. Luka sees what LeBron was able to do driving the Miami machine with Spo coaching and knows it's his best option for contention. Profit.

It’s a deal we can make if we want to make it, I think it’s understated how much LeBron would do for this team. In my mind it without a question makes us the top contending team in the East if you can basically swap out Rozier and Wiggins for LeBron

I personally believe it will require

JJJ
Wiggins
Rozier
1st round pick

Which I am more than happy with the Heat parting with

Stop giving away our FRPs please! JJJ is the sweetener! Lebron is 40 and will go and do whatever he wants. Wade was traded back to Miami for nothing because that’s what he wanted… you think LeBron will be any different? The sweetener is we also have to absorb Bronny.

Free up a spot for klutch client Burks as well and a Dame signing and everyone’s happy. Reports now that Dame could be back by the ASB (I wouldn’t allow him to return this season but I’m also not a doctor) and now you’ve added LeBron and Dame to a team that sorely needed a star and elite playmaking.

They would be if he gets bought out.. theyre not interested in a trade where they have to ship out matching salaries back to LA. Then that makes them a weaker team than they were before

He is gettable if we want him

LeBron doesn’t want a buy out it’s a stain on his legacy, and he also wants to look like the good guy here.

LA doesn’t want a buy out either, they would be best served recouping something, and have a great separation with an all time player for their image.

Miami is positioned to make this move, I can’t help but think they will take a swing at it, but if they do I doubt we hear about it until it is completed or months after it falls through. This will be handled delicately

Makes sense to me why they backed up off the KD move and have been slow to act here on some of the secondary targets

I don't think he would want to come back. He couldn't have his way and control of the franchise the first time. I don't see our FO giving in to him like other teams have.

Naturally, you wouldn't be posting if not to say something negative and cry into the voids of a dying internet. But, yea it's offseason with not much going on. Prime time for some bullsh*t.

I know it took me more than 2 minutes to respond to this, I would have responded sooner but I was too busy sobbing about how mean you were. Do better.

Considering your gauge on good, this just validates my approach.

What do people view as a success to the upcoming season?

1) Championship
2) Playoff success, but not a championship
3) Make the playoffs
4) Try to make the playoffs, but failed
5) Player development
6) High first round pick
7) Something else?

I view 5 & 6 as main priorities. 1 aint going to happen and 2 probably won’t either, 3&4 is just treadmilling.

You have to sweeten the deal to make sure you’re the one who gets it done. We won’t be the only suitor for LeBron. I don’t know why people talk about him like he’s not still an elite player in the NBA.

Fans are never satisfied.
But what's this "tipping point"? What happens when tipped? The empty arena? Not watching Heat games? Become Magic fans? It's all just talking head speaks.

I think there is a possibility that he doesn’t want all that anymore and just wants to hoop. He’s also lost that capability in LA now, and not many other teams will be rushing to give it to him. The only franchise LeBron has placed his faith in before was Pat Riley and the Miami Heat. He wasn’t LeGM here

Get him here pursue ownership stake with him moving forward, try to set up a situation where he plays 2-3 more years with after this being very team friendly deals, in exchange for back room discount into Franchise ownership with the big picture idea of creating a front office ran by Nick Arison, Zo, UD, Wade, Goran and LeBron.

KD gone. Now another fascination w another old superstar, LeBron, lol.

If he's bought out, I'd be ok. But why give up assets for a possible one year reunion w the girl who ditched you? The big 3 era was short but great and I'd welcome him back as a Heat legend when he's retired. But do you really wanna accommodate the backstabber n win for him? I feel dirty thinking about it, lol

He has a 1 year deal… and is the NBA golden boy. He will go exactly where he wants to no matter what that team offers. Truthfully, as long as they have decent players to match salaries on decent contracts that benefit the Lakers, it is a done deal.

I think I figured it out:

Wiggins, Fonteccio, Anderson, Jaime, and Keshad (sorry MWP) for LeBron and Bronny.

Sign Klutch client Burks to appease Klutch but also because he wants to be here and he’s a knockdown shooter and good veteran teammate.

Sign Dame.

Rozier and a 2nd(s) for Collins.

Have an open roster spot, find someone who fills a hole or leave it open if an additional move is needed in the future/a great buyout option comes available.

Rotation:

Davion/Dame (KJ until he returns)
Herro/Highsmith
LeGOAT/Jovic/Highsmith
Bam/Collins/Jovic
Ware/Collins/Bam

Main 9 man rotation is Davion, Dame, Herro, Highsmith, LeBron, Jovic, Bam, Collins, and Ware. The 3rd stringing in showing at the 3-4-5 positions are only playing spot minutes there when needed to make sure everyone is getting their minutes. Then you have KJ/Pelle/Burks/Love waiting in the wings when someone needs a night off. We get to the postseason healthy and run through the injury plagued East. We get to the finals against the Nuggets and we’re just too physically imposing in the frontcourt and too dynamic on the perimeter for them to keep up and we win the championship in 6 on our homecourt.

I don’t, LeBron left when the time was right for him to do it I didn’t like it nobody did, but he made the right move. Can’t be mad at him he was here for 4 years, 4 trips to the finals. If anybody should feel the way you do it’s Riley and that fence has already been mended.

Seems like no brainer then, not sure why this wouldn’t be the move? Are we getting something better than LeBron James on 52 mil expiring for Rozier and Wiggins?

JJJ might have a resurgence this season, just sayin.

What about Cody Martin as a flyer? Take up a two-way spot?

JJJ mightve been burnt out. We was callling him the mexican Jimmy his rookie season and he kinda took him under his wing. Maybe the Butler cold shoulder messed him up cause these players are human and can react negatively to those type of things. If he can get back to that post up old man foot work attacker then i would be happy. Go all in with the youth movement and wait til the trade deadline for a wiggins deal after he brings his value back up

No, I'm not interested in us hosting the LeBron farewell tour at 40/41 and the ensuing drama & stat padding either. Coming here won't bring us a title, just a circus & I've had enough of that from Jimmy last year.

And we have to take Bronny?!

If he doesn’t want to come here he doesn’t want to come here but the Heat will absolutely be interested whether we like it or not. It’s another buy low opportunity on a superstar, this one just happens to be the 2nd best player in our franchises history and arguably the greatest player in league history.
