Carmelo, Augustin, and Bazemore are all free agents. Stanley is a dime a dozen minimum contract guy. The 5Reasons source behind the Miami-LA talks also tweeted and deleted they were keeping their eye on Paul George, Anthony Davis and Kawhi..essentially throwing chit at the wall and seeing what sticks.

…but from a basketball perspective, he’s phucking gross man. He’s not who he was. He’d be so bad next to Jimmy and Bam. You thought the fit with Lebron and AD was bad? WOY would be captain the SS Shambles into an iceberg.

Have people not been paying attention to his play and team dynamic the past few years? Or has the desperation for the Heat to make an offseason upgrade just warped peoples minds?

Best option right now is to forget kd or mitchell
Trade Duncan and a 1st for a real pf (Barnes??) and start herro and hope he turns into booker, we have no other choice

We may start Caleb Martin at pf as is and that makes me sick

I need some of this in my life

It's 8 and a half minutes of Brodie airballs, bricks and turnovers from last season. AND IT WAS CREATED LESS THAN A MONTH INTO THE SEASON. So not even 16 games played and yet still enough material to make a compilation video lasting over 8 minutes. Brutal

I really think he's suffering some kind of vision problem because the gag reel of shot and pass attempts he produces in mass volume just doesn't make sense

I believe this long wait may be too excruciating for some & are driving them mad. Im not sure how much longer they can take before they demand to trade everybody for Millap & Schröder
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

The Kings/Hawks/Wizards might not want to trade ATM, but all could change their approach by trade deadline.

H.Barns/Kuzma/John Collins might be availed for Duncan + a pick if those teams start the season slow and Duncan looks decent.

Can Highmith/Days/Martin buy us some time with decent PF play so start the year?

Will be interesting to see, I'm feeling optimistic.

If you took the time to watch the entire video, and paid attention to the shot clock, you would see 99% of the jumpers taken that lead air balls, the backside of the rim, hitting the side of the backboard you shouldn't even have the angle to hit in active game he had over 10 seconds still left. Which tells me these terrible shots are happening early in the clock and not even based on a desperation jumper with a winding down clock. What terrible basketball I just watched.

Please no BricksBrook. That's 3 starters who can't shot. We need to stop being cheap. There is no point taking that contract just to have more money in FA next off-season. We need to win NOW.

The amount of BS in this VOL. We lost it lol

Yep.

I'd pivot straight from KD snake chase to Turner afterburner. Duncan and picks. Do it by end of day tomorrow.

My interest in Westbrook is not as a player, but as a contract. To be clear, I don't want him in a Heat uniform. I just think he and a Lakers first round pick help us get Durant/Mitchell more than Lowry and Robinson on their current deals.

Make a deal with OKC to get the protections removed from our 2025 pick, and all of the sudden, we have 4 picks, Herro, and a giant expiring contract to offer up. That makes a difference.

Exactly. I wish more would see the big picture. Westbrook sucks we get it but Westbrook’s contract and pick opens a lot of doors. Even if we start Gabe. Maybe people will keep enjoying Duncan and his 17 million floundering on the bench while Spo figues out a way to sit Herro,Strus, Butler, Martin, and Oladipo to get him minutes.

I think many see the picture but don’t see it as some sort of silver bullet solution.

Are the Lakers really just looking to ship out their first round pick to get Westbrook off the team and take on other multi-season salary commitments?

What if it doesn’t really move the needle in our pursuit of KD/Mitchell? It’s an absolutely punted season (give me Lowry over Westbrook 10 times out of 10 to compete next season) vs other potential moves and then after that the cap relief only results in maybe adding a marginal player next offseason and re-signing guys we already have.

Feels desperate
