I guess they haven't played since he's been in Cleveland.

You're a bit confused. if Cavs wanted to "save money too", they can just cut Bynum now. no need to trade him. If they trade him, it's because they want to get a productive player.

Are you certain they aren't using Bynum's deal to get rid of a few undesirables like Dion Waiters? Because it's not going to be a straight up deal for Pau??? Don't be so certain that they're trading for a keeper.

Waiters has Value, it makes zero sense. They're keeping whoever they get if they trade Bynum. The only point of trading Bynum for them is to get a better player and win some games.

And you think Pau is that guy even though he and Brown didn't get along? Ok We'll just have to see how this plays out.

Be that as it may, but Bynum's lost none of his size and length since their last matchup. I firmly believe that we should seriously consider signing him if there is interest on both sides of the ball.

There's absolutely no doubt we should look to sign him. In fact I think the Heat should flat out waive Joel to make room for him if JA can't be traded!!!

joel is making 3.8 mil dollars over the next two years (2nd year player option) waiving him is throwing that money into the ocean. If u were to waive anyone, its roger mason jr....his contract isnt even guaranteed until the 7th of Jan. In terms of joel, u gotta figure out a way to trade him next season to some team that wants to clear cap.

Nobody's going to help us move Joel. That money is dead. We'll need Mason way more than we'd ever need Joel.

We need Mason more than we need Joel. Our guard depth is already thin, we aren't gonna lose a guard to make room for another front court player. We have 5 guards, 10 front court players, I believe. It only makes sense to cut a big.

im not saying thats not the right thing to do, but financially speaking it will never happen. Micky Arison and Pat RIley sure want to improve the team but in this situation, money talks. To say that there is no way we can move Joel next season isnt realistic. IT could happen. Cutting him now is just throwing money into the ocean....

I'll rather have Justin Hamilton than Andrew Bynum

Funny enough, I'd like to see Hamilton on this team next year or so, he is perfect for this team in terms of fitting in our system. I know it's the D-League, but he shoots 3's and rebounds... we love that shiz lol.

He is efficient too :o

I don't think those are good rebounding numbers, considering it is the D-League.

If Bynum is cut loose, we go after him. It doesn't effect the Oden situation in any way. At most we could expect a good 10-15 mpg in a playoff situation out of Oden, if all goes according to plan. Bynum would be a compliment to Oden, not necessarily an impediment considering how limited Oden is likely to be in terms of usage. Bynum gives you a 1-2 punch, he's going to be more effective then Oden even in Bynum's degraded state and he's another chess piece you can insert into a game against the Pacers to frustrate Indy's size, if nothing else they can both be used to get Hibbert in foul trouble. Bynum would, in my opinion, neutralize Indy's size advantage just enough to make it impossible for them to prevail in a 7-game series.

Let's be real here, Bynum ain't Eddie Curry, the guy will have great usefulness in a playoff series. And assuming we get past the Pacers in the ECF and are matched up against a Spurs team hellbent on vengeance, then Bynum would be doubly useful against the Spurs' front. I see no downside to getting this guy if he's gettable. Bynum isn't seducing Gabrielle Union, I doubt we have to deal with that hand grenade in the clubhouse.

Bynum would be good on this team. If we can get him, it's a no brainer in my opinion. But, if Pat Riley thinks otherwise, I'll understand that too of course lol

Bynum will be cut.

We should try for him if he wants to come.

That Hibbert b1tch sure talks a lot, doesn't he?

Would love to see a Oden/Bynum tandem destroy him in the playoffs. Let's see him deal with someone his own size.

hibbitchs numbers are laughingly bad. 12/8 for a supposed all star center and he only shoots 48 percent. too bad he turns into kareem against the heat. ive seen him get shut down by some terrible bigs this year

He's actually averaging 5.3 rebounds per game.
