Rockets are making Ryan Anderson available. Doubt we have any assets to trade though (they're looking to shed salary so they can spend big during FA).

Re: Miami HEAT Offseason/Trades/FA Thread: Sardine Central
So... if LAL are gonna offer #27 + #28 + Randle for George, should we offer #14 + TJ? I think our offer would be objectively better. It would come down to whether we want to risk a one year rental
Best case scenario: This leads to Hayward signing and we're able to convince George to re-sign
Worst case scenario: Hayward doesn't sign and George leaves next year
Even in the worst case scenario though, we'd still end up with a bunch of cap room after dumping TJ's contract
I think it's a moderate loss risk, very high reward gamble to make that deal

Hell, I would. Riley doesn't even use picks that often he trades them away and takes players via the D-League now. And I want to shed TJ's contract and I add McRoberts on there too if it wouldn't possibly have a slight effect on Hayward's decision. And let's say George leaves then we would have so much Cap Space next year and the following. I know Lebron's picks would be LA, Miami, and Cleveland. If Hayward does sign, do you honestly think George is going to leave. Also if George is here that gives Hayward more reason to be here to form a strong team.

Feells like he's past his prime for some reason, but maybe can bounce back here. Really good fit. Really good.
Depends on how much we can low-ball them.

Its' a good gamble to take I agree.
The East isn't as uncompetitive as people make it out to be. Cavs aren't that great and IMO that team is past it's prime.
You add a Gorge to our core and we're right back up there, he's not a top 3 player but he's a difference maker - I love TJ more then most but to have to that risk if that's possible. We're a highly desirable destination, If we land a whale I feel confident he'll choose to say here after being exposed to our team and city.

Re: Miami HEAT Offseason/Trades/FA Thread: Sardine Central
The Heat are the PERFECT trade partners for the Rockets right now. We can give them Bosh's contract which they'd waive later to create space for another star and in return we'd get Beverly and Anderson and maybe a future pick. Rockets are looking for ways to do this so we should be in talks with them.
Dragic/Beverly
Waiters/Richardson/Mcgruder
Winslow/Justin Jackson
Anderson/Babbitt/Haslem
Whiteside/Late 1st/early 2nd-rounder TJ gets traded for

I would do 14, TJ and McRoberts for PG13 1 year rental in a heart beat.

13.6 ppg and 40+% from 3. He's basically an older version of Markkanen. Also, we'd get Beverly and a future 1st rounder. No superstar this summer but at least we'd setup our future a little better with a future 1st rounder and still compete in the East for a spot in the ECF.

That's the best offer they can get to be honest.

We wouldn't even have enough cap space for a max player lol. You forget that we are still gonna sign other players possibly Dion or JJ too? Yes, PG already said he's leaving to the Lakers no matter what that's his hometown and he wants to play for them. That is why Arison said he is not doing that if PG is 100% sure that he wants to leave after one year.

yea', I feel like bigs that can shoot but do nothing else will become just as obsolete as the ones that can't rebound or shoot
Scares me about potentially drafting Markkanen when his ceiling is based on him potentially being able to play C
