Gallinari's loss imo. Not very smart staying in OKC, at best one and done in the playoffs.
He could help Heat make a run at the ECF. Maybe this is more about his agent than anything.

Speaking of Jimmy, I wonder if he did any recruiting... Doesn't seem like it.

So what's the lineups and minutes gonna look like now?
Small-ball and zone galore?

Meh...its over. Trades didn't really help that or hurt. Certainly not putting us over the top.

If teams have agreed to a trade in principle they can go over 3pm to finish it up.

I've been telling yall. Galinari plays no defense. none.

Galinari and Robinson on the same floor would've been an eye sore. we good

Ehh. If by help this season? Then yeah, the needle hasn't moved much. But for the future, I'd say the Heat did well all things considered.

Probably not on board with the Heat shape stuff he'd have to deal with here, lmao

I agree with you too. Gotta want to be here. Strange though, he'd be a perfect fit.

While I would have liked Gallo here, I'm happy we didn't do anything rash to get it done. All in all we didn't loose anything except winslow which even though I liked, he didn't really play much at all cause of injuries. At best Iggy, Crowder and Hill maybe provide some more defense and at least be serviceable on O worst case they replace Dion's and JJ's role on the pine. The same players that got us this record are here and intact.

Give Presti credit, he let his player decide if he wanted to leave or not. Give Gallo credit, he wanted to stay and play with the teammates he like. They deserve each other.

Now lets get back to work on our goal, another ring.

Main concern is the same I had before the deadline- we have 2 healthy bigs- Bam and Kelly. DJJ and Iggy will have to play a ton of small ball 4. And Kelly is going to have to play a lot of minutes with Robinson, which is less than ideal defensively.

We needed another big this deadline. All indications are Meyers will be out a while.
