This roster doubled down on small ball. Injuries gonna be intense next season. The roster is going to be wiped out too.

Well Lowry got replaced in Toronto by Fred VanVleet so you can understand why our top 3 doesn't look quite as good as the Nets. Personally I think Lowry is still better than FVV, but :dontknow:

Adding on top of his point is the fact that, unless we do some significant additions to our bench then we are going to have to be top heavy on minutes with an older roster excluding Bam and Herro. That doesn't sound like a recipe for a team that is small and is going to have to out speed the other team. If you lack supreme athleticism to play that up tempo game you need a deep bench with quick rotations to prevent players from burning out.

Letting Nunn go for nothing is roster mismanagement.

What makes you think they didn’t explore trades? If the teams that want him could pay him out right, why would they give anything else for him?

I'm old enough to remember when Nunn made a hard run for rookie of the year. But I can't bitch much since I always felt he was a limited player. Would've been nice to have off the bench though.

You all are just out for blood.

Can’t even stop and appreciate the Lowry signing. A miserable, spoiled bunch.

There were concerns that Nunn would cost as much as 15m and it would just be too rich for Mia.

That fact Mia wouldn't do 5m for Nunn who was the best offensive player for Mia in a number of games these past 2 years is pretty baffling.

Hope they have a better backup PG option than Vincent lined up.

The way it currently stands with all the trades and signings, where do we sit in the east?

Bucks
Nets
Hawks
Sixers
Bulls
Heat??

We a 6-8 east team?

Just reading this board…you’d think the Heat have one of the worst HC, GM, and owner in the league.

I think Nunn wanted out. I'm happy for the young man he got to choose and a decent check.

Give it up. This team is not running. Despite his history with the Showtime Lakers, Pat doesn't like it when we play fast.

I accepted this years ago.

It’s honestly sick.

Anything short of a big 3 set of in prime superstars, and it’s going to be disappointment, and clamoring for a tank. But that’s the precedent this organization set. And you got crazy fans thinking that should be the norm every few years.

Vocal minority. There's one segment of posters that aren't too big on Jimmy and wanted to blow things up. That group was never going to be happy with any move that we made this offseason that didn't align with what they wanted and those are the people you keep responding to. I think we've had a decent offseason but some significant holes remain, back up PG, athletic wing defender, another big or possibly two, not sure if/how we will fill.

I expected the Heat to at least hold on to their own.

I **** called it.

Nunn would be courted by a good team. He can ball. He will thrive in LA if given minutes.

Spo must be pretty upset right now, he can't hand Nunn DNP's anymore.
